Okay don’t get me wrong, but this is now becoming a endless system of “log on do stuff repeat three more times and wait till reset” but you can do it all in a day, a single day
What I would do this, make missions repeatable and I do mean all of them, red war, curse of Osiris and warmind and the other two, just so we can relive the moments which some of us payed for
More crucible maps or just say we give up on it, rn the community is just begging on their knees and waiting so patiently for it, so it’s either we give them maps or just let them have the cold message.
Raids, bring them back, since alot of people enjoyed them, and I missed my chance since I was not really into talking to people plus I had no friend or clan.
Endgame loot, you can get one of every loot once and then the exotic, meaning you can get all the loot do it like the exotic engrams, make it so you can get it once until you got them all then make it random, leading to more loot to gain plus give them more reason to go for it
Pvp endgame, this is a topic I tend to try keep away since I ain’t a big fan of crucible nor am I a fan of it, but I still want to see the loot and use it, plus I did have a dream to see the lighthouse but I gave up on it, I never think I’m going to get there.
Look what I’m saying is this, pve has gotten dry, pvp has gotten dry, the game is dry, the start of the season is probably the most active the game will be, but when you done all of it, everything in it, it’s just “meh i done it all and high enough light level I don’t really need to do anything” it’s just, I love the game but it’s just boring now, and it’s sad since I could always go onto destiny 1 and enjoy the game, since I could always redo a quest, look around do stuff in areas, and the speakers in the tower, that is fun, this game lost a bit of its charm and we blamed activision, but in reality, they got bungie to do stuff
And I ain’t saying activision is good or bad, but without them, bungie got lazy
Most of this is just my own opinion, so I don’t really know if I am right in any of this

Editado por LloydKrypton: 7/23/2021 4:21:27 AMYeah I kind of agree the game is losing steam. I was interested in Destiny because someone I know got me into it and I decided to give it a try in December of 2019 and I fell in love with the game. Red War was my favorite campaign and story of Destiny 2. Destiny 2 was so much fun in the beggining but it got more and more boring as time went by. I find myself doing the same activites over and over again and I got really tired of playing alone but unfortunately I don't think there is anything I can do about it but however I still play the game almost everyday since I first played Destiny 2. What was surprising to me is that I actually managed to solo the Shattered Throne and I was so proud of myself because I was still somewhat of newbie and I almost gave up on Vorgeth and Dul Incaru but I didn't gave up and defeated them. Anyway Destiny just gets more and more boring by the day and I wish there were more things to do.

18 RespuestasNobody actually wants Curse of Osiris or Warmind content back tho...

1 Respuestait is and the Steam player numbers show it. I know people play on PS and XBOX too, but I don't know if you can find player numbers on a game basis so I can't comment on it. Check out the Steam charts for this game, crazy fanboys deny it, but Destiny 2 is losing its playerbase, not growing it.

Editado por Darth Lunchbox: 7/21/2021 9:46:57 PMD2 has been gut shot since just after Forsaken and has been slowly limping along trying to find a nice quiet place to finally lay down and die. Every once in a while someone comes along and helps it out for a little bit, but eventually leaves leaving D2 to continue its lonely road into oblivion.

13 RespuestasThis game has been "losing steam" for three years. It's always the same pattern, we get to the point where content is light and you just log in to do bounties and weeklies and the like, then a new season launches and theres tons of new shit and everyone is excited again. It's not the greatest pattern but it's probably the best we have had.

3 RespuestasIt lost steam a while ago. Beyond Light barely moved the needle in my opinion, serving only to add a new subclass, but beyond that it just added “stuff”. I think the next season has a better chance of waking up the narrative, since we’ll be dealing with the last of the Hive leadership.

Its super boring atm. I did my GM and f-off for this week. If i want to torture myself i'll log in to do some grandma bounties for dust.

2 RespuestasI’d be back to destiny in a flash if it wasn’t for the one and only thing that stops me. The fact you have to use your mic in endgame. The way bungie have designed there mechanics forces you to use your mic. No In game chat box for text chat. No command wheel of some sort with said callouts written for selection. No nothing you just have to use your mic and this is the only thing that has made me give up on destiny and fully uninstall it

19 RespuestasOpinion 1) I think you have rose colored nostalgia glasses about d1. There were months and months and months in that game where nothing was even updated. In D2, we are getting new stuff ever three months or so with seasons. Opinion 2) Bungie will never be able to make enough content to satiate the unreasonable expectations of the ultra hardcore part of the community. They’ve leaned into seasons that give a decent amount of content for the hobby player.

“Lost” would be more accurate.

Dont play Destiny 2 everyday. Easy fix. Theres no logical way Bungie can make this game stay fresh for people that want to pkay it everyday. I cant think of any game that can do that tbh.

All seasons have these SAME posts. It's cause we all burn out towards the end an getting antsy

8 RespuestasYear seven of "Destiny is dying", "Destiny is losing it's steam", "Destiny isn't the same", "Bungie has lost passion" Here's to two more years. Might even see a revival of "Call of Duty ultra endgame warfare fight is going to kill destiny" posts.

Ever since it went to steam its losing steam....

I haven’t touched this game in awhile. The grind and new mechanics are boring. It’s sad to have invested sooo much time into this game that the new content just sucks. I’d rather have the old callus raid back than VOG. Bungie needs to do something new not bring back crap from D1
-
Nah it’s still available on steam just look it up
Gottem
LoL I wish this game would lose STEAM all together. It’s the worse thing to happen to the Franchise.

12 RespuestasIt’s the end of the season I don’t know what you expect.

3 RespuestasSo for pve, repeatable story missions, and bringing back the raids is what would help this game. Most people have 0 interest in running story missions over. I can barely run a mission 3 times with my characters with out wanting to kill myself. Bungie has Stat trackers of everything played, no one was running missions in d1 or the story missions for power in d2, that why they got rid of it. Most people don't touch raids and even fewer touch old ones. I wouldn't mind them back, but that will be dripped fed back.
