Get some sun
I don’t mean that in a condescending way. Sometimes when you’re feeling low energy or just down in the dumps, it’s best to get some sun on you, even for just a few minutes. You’ll start to feel more energetic in a matter of seconds as the sun’s warm embrace glazes over your body.
I believe that if you take some time to step out into the sun, and just breath while taking it in, you will start to have a much more clear head.
And if it’s not sunny where you are, simply just standing outside (preferably barefoot) is good enough.
Remind yourself that you are a real thing in a real world, and take a few minutes to disconnect from everything.

Hmmm...or maybe we just need more moonlight instead

1 RespuestaDoesn't sunlight cause melanoma?

4 RespuestasTell that to the kid at my school who has that disease where she’ll die if she goes into the sun.
Forgot what it’s called.
It’s been raining for a week. I’m convinced the sun isn’t even real.

After being tied to a desk all day and seeing the sun shining outside my office window, I'm more than happy to go outside. I just rarely get the opportunity. When I do get home, things need done, or I'm just mentally not functioning to where I want to do anything else. Though the times I do get to do projects outside, I feel better. There is just something about being outside and having minor lawn or landscaping accomplishments that just make me feel better, that I've done something 'productive' that doesn't have anything to do with working for someone else's benefit. Knocking out long term outdoor projects is a good feeling.

6 RespuestasI dislike the sun, it makes me sneeze and I have sensitive eyes. I do love going on hikes at night with no flashlight, though.

2 RespuestasI'd rather not turn into a pile of ashes, thanks.
in all seriousness, good post - also putting on some headphones, lying down and listening to an album can help too.
Outside is a myth.

And make sure you’re getting enough sleep. Don’t stay up past 11, even during summer & weekends!

2 RespuestasThanks but, I’m an albino; the sun is not something I need more of in my life.
