The main issue I have with IB is the bounties that ask you lower your power level to get more progress. It's the one event other than Trials where power benefits you, but no; if you want your pinnacle drop, intentionally handicap yourself and drop your power. Why? Just seems like an odd thing to do. The quest can be annoying too, depending on the weapons they make you use (At least it wasn't 10 rocket kills ffs), but I usually don't mind the quest as much as the couple "lower your light level" bounties, which always take a long time. I generally don't keep low level gear lying around just for IB.

How about not going into a power enabled mode underpowered so you at least have a chance. With the level you have I can one tap you with my igneous hammer man thats not a good spot to be in. Any amount of a dps buff and someone can 1 tap you or easily 2 tap you of course you won't get the steps done you're dead most of the time.
