If you buy shaders and transmog items, Bungie just realizes the system works to get more silver moneyflow. Boycott this trash system and force them to give us what we deserve.
-
Greed is only a problem if it's forced on you. High taxes are an example. You must pay. This is a game where you can choose what you buy. And our money only bought us a license to play the game. We dont "deserve" anything. Entitlement is for losers.
-
Oh trust me , they will indulge

25 RespuestasKnew once they implemented Eververse into the franchise it would go this way. It was just a matter of time.
-
What exactly do you deserve? Just curious as to what you feel you’re entitled to.
-
Its their money, blame bungie for the system, we live in a actual good world. You dont have any right to say how someone spends their money what you can do is get upset at people who try to make a quick buck

9 RespuestasEditado por Collins9875: 4/23/2021 5:40:48 PMAs much as I agree with you, I see it as absurd how Bungie is trying to have the monetization scheme of a F2P game while charging full game prices for DLC, realistically I know there will always be whales with more money then brains that will feed the beast.
-
1 RespuestaOnly use blue items. Delete your vaults. Never engage with their monetization schemes. Only buy legit DLC. This would change the game.

1 RespuestaThis kind of shit is what happens when you go full -blam!-. You never go full -blam!-.

I’m all for capitalism but this is Nickel and dime’in the player base that that has supported them over the years. I’ve bought silver gotten ornaments over the years . But no more . My wallet has been off foe bungie for quite some time now . Will remain that way for the foreseeable future .

2 RespuestasHere's the thing... they need to finance the development in some way, specially when they giving away a large chunk of the game for free... It could be worst... seems like Bungie community is kinda weird... when it comes to give bungie money everyone is a cheap skate... whenever is about recoveries no one minds paying... Oh well... better spend it with bungie than use it to pay taxes :)

8 RespuestasIt's time to bail. Y'all did this. I never wanted microtransactions. I wanted a videogame, not a cashshop. I'll pay for a game, but not microtransactions. You want this system? Then that's what they'll give you. Game has changed. They've made it into a mobile free to try version with microtransactions not associated with the game. I'm just here to play a game. This is not it. If you like it, stay and let them milk you. If you don't, it's time to bail. This game won't change, it's a Milking Cow. I also want transmog and shaders, but not like this. Let's bail. It's time to go.

1 RespuestaI agree 100%. But I want to say that I think Bungie's big mistake here is treating their paying customers the same as free players. I completely support Bungie for making money from the game. What I don't support is them soaking people who ALREADY PAID FOR THE GAME. This kind of thing is one reason I don't play phone games. I want to pay upfront and then play the game without being tormented with microtransactions. I encourage Bungie to soak the free players! Good for them. Squeeze every penny out of them. But show some respect for the loyal PAYING customers. As far as the boycott, I have been thinking of just removing all my shaders and ornaments and "playing ugly" next season. But I don't know if that would affect anyone but me. It would make me sad. Also I feel that it would make me feel less connected to my characters and I'm thinking maybe that would be a good thing because I am starting to feel that I spend too much time gaming and maybe not caring so much would be a step in the right direction for me... I have also considered making a new Playstation account with a username like: DontBuyShaders and then leaving that character standing in front of Eververse all day. LOL For paying customers the price of shaders should remain a trivial amount. Give us some respect Bungie!

4 RespuestasTbh I already think anyone who spends money for silver in this game for cosmetics is f’ing it up and letting bungie keep on being lazy. Only thing I justify is buying the expansions, which is already starting to seem like a bad idea if we are gonna have to keep dropping 40 dollars for minimal content and then have it removed 2 years later. If it’s gonna be 40 it should be forsaken sized. I have never seen a game that dabbles in both expensive dlc and expensive cosmetics, it should be one of the other, both is just some greedy f’ness from bungie.

6 RespuestasThere is no goodwill here. Only Greed.

I fully support this!

You say it like they haven’t always been greedy money lovers

And to those that will reply with “bUt yOu pAiD fOr a LIcEnsE” that’s bullshit. I didn’t go to a DMV for the game, I went to a store and paid money for the Game. Disagree and I will ignore you.

5 RespuestasFor all the people who said “it’s Activision”...hope you’re paying attention
-
The problem is, people who have money will buy them with no problem. So...can you blame these people? No. You can only blame the money making machine called Bungie at this point.

3 RespuestasI hate to be that guy,but It's cosmetics, which every game charges extra for I know we all thought Bungie was different than EA, Activision and Bethesda, but it just so happens they want to make money also We are lucky we get 2 free sets per character
-
This has always been Bungie, since the day they signed the deal with the devil (Activision, who wasn't really the devil after all) to make boatloads of money producing more content than they could handle. They tried pushing Eververse extra hard during the Dawning 2017 and people pushed back hard enough for them to calm down. But they've been pushing and pulling back ever since, testing the waters to see just how much they can get away with.
-
4 RespuestasEven though I agree that Bungie is being stupid as usual, It won't change anything knowing most of the player base don't even use any forum that is used to give feedback, and with the new light system, there will always be new players. In a month or 2 most of you will forget these posts even existed and Bungie knows that so things will go according to their plan and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

There’s nothing we can do, I try not to buy stuff from eververse. Don’t use silver, use bright dust. And hey, aren’t you the dude on light GG who gave ticuu’s divination a really crappy review ?
