I just went against a clan of cheaters and it’s annoying as hell. I report them but I feel like I’m just wasting my time because I feel like it’s only getting worse not better.

1 RespuestaTo get that sweet ban hammer noti when you log in 😩😩

No point in reporting people for cheating. Say they get their 5000 reports after hardcore cheating for 4 months and Bungie finally decides to look at their account after they bought all the DLCs and ban them. Games f2p, phone verification you can use the same phone number and cheats can be used on any account until the subscription ends. If I wanted to I could be a closet cheater and never get banned. Like the amount of people that closet cheat is insane because they know Bungie won't ban them. Closet cheating are people who play legit and are decent players but when they start losing they turn walls and aimbot on. Or just run all time walls since Bungie has no anti cheat for wall hacks.

3 RespuestasThere is none. Every time I match a cheater theyre sitting on accounts with thousands of hours, putting up cheater stats for months without a care in the world. Theres one guy I match wat too often in Trials, 4000 elo (top 0.01%) with 98% supremacy headshot accuracy and 99% lifetime win rate in trials. It is impossible to beat him, guy has the premium subscription just bot walking around trigger botting before you even see him. I have matched him every few weekends since Trials came out a year ago. Report him every time. Doesnt matter. This is why I dont play trials.

Editado por cheese_foreva: 4/9/2021 2:55:37 AMWhat needs to happen is these guys using wall hacks and overlays need to be PERMA BANNED! They're almost not detectable but so many people are using them. It's obvious AF. I can't take PVP seriously in this game because there's no skill involved just cheating to gain an advantage. I would like to see all PVP modes with Blackout modifier. Use your senses and eyes only. That would be awesome fun. Unfortunately wall hacks and cheaters exist and always will. Edit: I do understand that some weapons, armour and mods give you wall hacks like True Sight. It's an unfair advantage and should be removed from all PVP aspects. This is what I'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lb9FxxNn9HE

1 RespuestaEditado por kime: 4/10/2021 7:50:21 PMNo point whatsoever. Obvious cheaters called out as such for months/years on their profile are still playing just fine ruining other people's game. Bungie does not care
-
I love the. Oh you want to report someone. Let's kick you out of that menu 4 times in a row

Editado por [[BIG SHOT]]: 4/8/2021 1:24:31 AMWent against someone hard aimbotting this weekend in trials whilst I was carrying someone with my friend to their first flawless. He left after that and I just felt defeated. Edit: Just checked his profile and he’s been aimbotting with 98% headshot accuracy since February... I have no words.

1 RespuestaIf they are actually cheating then they will most likely get punished but ONLY if you report them via the player report form on the bungie help page. I’m very confident in-game reporting does absolutely nothing unless a very large amount of players report a suspected cheater.
-
They're too busy thinking about and designing more things for people to acquire to put on a weapon/armor so you can get around a shield they designed to only be affected by certain other things they designed so that you'd have to have the other things they designed, to even think about actually monitoring or observing the majority of the playerbase.
-
1 RespuestaAgree. Bungie only cares when streamers like luckii get affected, then the ban hammer comes down. But for the majority of players Bungie don’t give a fu*k about us
-
To make you feel like you have done something about it.
-
Ignoring the blatant lack of efficiency on bungies part I’d say it also doesn’t help that no one gives feedback to players who reported since it would certainly help if people actually knew they were doing something, and not just a vague “almost guys”.
-
I've received notifications from Destiny stating that cheaters I've reported have been banned.
-
You report the lagging players none stop and they get matched with you game after game.. it’s bull crap
-
8 RespuestasThey need to return the paywall
-
1 RespuestaNo point. It's psychologic: You report them, so you feel better at that moment.
-
The problem is that you will be matchmaking with them over and over again ! Some people say that is working , I don't know 😕 what to believe ! I have reported lots of network manipulación, nothing happened, reported bigger fish from trials entire teams of cheaters and win trading, players with 0.39 kd and 200+ flawless ! One has 2600 matches winning streak with 0.04 kd according to trials report, i don't hear anything from Bungie about doing something about them !
-
It’s just like the “close door” button on an elevator..... it’s to make you think something will happen. It’s all psychological conditioning. I reported, therefore something will be down so I am not as angry and will play more.
-
It’s to report them title is self explanatory
-
Blame free to play for this. If Bungie wants to keep this model they should probably get an anti cheat instead of having people sit there and manually boot cheaters, or ban IPs or MAC addresses (despite the latter being easily changeable but it can still throw some cheaters off).
-
4 RespuestasThat’s the cost of the game going free. They can just make new accounts.
-
Go tell those people who are complaining on the #Help forum page about being banned that Bungie does nothing.
-
3 Respuestas
What’s the point of reporting cheaters?
So they can get banned. I got 3 people banned by simply reporting them.
-
10 Respuestas
I just went against a clan of cheaters and it’s annoying as hell. I report them but I feel like I’m just wasting my time because I feel like it’s only getting worse not better.
Probably because they're not cheating. You're on console. 99.9% certain you experienced a touch of lag crossed with a better player and you're just salty. Get a grip.
-
Save video and screenshots then report them directly to Xbox, PlayStation, or steam. Bungie doesn’t ban anyone I feel like it’s the platforms that do. I’ve had many people get the hammer by reporting to Xbox directly
-
I've gotten a few banned before, some in SoTC
