What comes after?
What would happen after the Light and Dark saga ends? What would be the next big threat could it possibly whatever made the Light and Dark or Gardner and Winnower? Would we have killed everything or become allies with everything but the vex?

Using the fact that gameplay mechanics such as light and dark subclasses would unlikely go away, I assume neither will the light or darkness. Potentially traveller and winnower. I like the question; is there something bigger than the traveller and winnower out there? Architects could always be a thing. Other than that the only thing out there that could pose an existential threat would be ourselves, opposing guardians/risen

I’ve wondered the same and am actually concerned we get the dull “you thought these were the biggest threats in the universe but...” If the Gardener and Winnower are the designers of the universe, in so much that they inserted themselves into the Game to affect the Game they had just watched them they should be the ultimate powers. It just seems poor direction if we are presented with the idea that had this new threat just arrived a year earlier both the Traveller and Pyramids would have been laid to waste. Maybe we will become like Elsie Bray and just be sent back in time stuck in a loop that changes the same story in different ways each time?

In theory anything is possible after that. New worlds, new enemies, new threats. I mean its space so literally unlimited possibilities. I would love to take a look at the homeworlds of current enemy species though (Torobatel f. E.)

Single player game to launch afterwards. Will be halo style missions etc I gurantee, bungie burnt themselves with the current ip style of game that they and we know that they are doing a terrible job of sustaining.

I think you answered your own question; the Vex are the most likely primary antagonists for the next saga. They present the most existential threat to humanity and their motives and goals are directly opposed to our own.

4 Respuestas<While I believe Xivu will be the campaign antagonist for Witch Queen, I don't think she'll die. She could very well come into play later if we ever help the Cabal retake Torobatl. There's also the remaining Worm Gods, Ur, Eir, and Yul. Then, there's obviously the Vex. Finally, there might be the Nine, especially if the Gardener ends up dying.>

15 RespuestasI think, if the darkness is defeated, the hive will lose their worms, so they will lose all their power. The fallen will be as usual, same for the cabal, the taken will disappear, and the vex will stay. The scorn will also probably stay, unless their Dark Ether is somehow connected to the Darkness. So it looks like the only threats that will be truly eliminated will be the Hive and the Taken.

Editado por Drifter is my uncle: 3/15/2021 8:00:04 PMI feel like we are gonna become allies with the Cabal and Fallen I especially feel like the cabal light suppression devices would probably be instrumental in destroying the gardener and possibly the winnower so I feel like we are gonna need them.
