Stasis nerfs in the TWAB don't address the real problem.
The real problem are the slow debuffs.
Slow decreases:
1. Weapon handling;
2. Weapon reload;
3. Weapon accuracy;
4. Weapon stability/recoil; and
5. Movement and movement abilities.
Slow literally reduces your ability to fight back and your ability to disengage with just one stack. THAT is the real problem. As far as I'm concerned, if the March 23rd patch hits and all these debuffs are taken away, THEN Stasis will be balanced. Otherwise it'll just be more of the same.
The current preview shown in the TWAB is a good start, but so far it doesn't look like it addresses the root of the problem or arguably the greatest frustration of Stasis.

11 RespuestasDon't most grenades in the game just flat out kill you? Pretty sure that limits your ability to fight back as well, as a ghost bubble can't shoot.

1 RespuestaThe slow effect taking away weapon accuracy is plain dumb. The only things that can fight against is Dead Man’s Tale with the catalyst and a weapon with Opening Shot. Although you take a lot more incoming damage, you can still fight back in a Tether. Your shot can still land while being in Tethered while in a Duskfield. You can’t fight back

1 RespuestaIf only one thing needs to be absolutely removed from this list it’s weapon accuracy. Why is that a problem? Because your bullets become random! No matter how accurate your sights are it doesn’t mean squat when Slow can effectively turn off your ability to fight back.

16 RespuestasActually..the problem lies with the player being slowed. Precision frames dont get an accuracy decrease. Agressive frames get a huge decrease. Also...if you remove freeze and slow from stasis then that removes the entire reason the class exists. Then they might just as well remove supressing from void and burn from solar . I dont understand you people. All throughout D1 and year 1-3 of D2. WE WANT ICE SUBCLASSES. What would you expect ice subclasses to do if not slow or freeze?
