My connection is flawless 99.5% if the time, and certainly feels equivalent to games I play that have dedicated servers.

That’s how it was from 2017-2019. I have hopped on occasionally since then, (though admittedly haven’t played heavily since the last Solstice of Heroes), and that’s just the way it is. With sunsetting ending I plan on returning, and I’ll be enjoying my connection when I do. The point of my reply was to tell him that not everyone has issues with the connection. Someone saying they gave a perfect connection in destiny 2 is either a result of them not playing or being a liar. The connections in this game are legendarily bad. Even on a great day there's probably 10 kill trades per match and one or two players not taking damage for several seconds at a time. [spoiler]you're a liar[/spoiler]

Sure, there are little jolts every now and then, but that happens to any of my games with multiplayer. I’m sorry that my connection just being good bothers you. Edit: Nice spoiler. I can handle it just fine because it's laughable. No one who has ever played this game consistently would ever believe that nonsense. Now, that was for minor character tweaks and exploring Europa, not major PvP sessions, but I’ve definitely played the game recently than “a year ago”. I heavily ground out PvP during the Solstice of Heroes, which was nowhere near a year ago and not dissimilar to current conditions. So no, the only one talking out of their a** is you. Your argument, which succinctly out is, “Most people have bad connections therefore everyone does.” is impossible to support because it is illogical (some of a sample being in one condition does not necessitate the entire sample being in the same condition) and impossible to support with evidence unless you want to comb through my ISP data since 2017.
