Breathe in through your nose & out through your mouth.
If you're lifting weights, don't try to rush through & hit a number to complete a set. Think about what you're doing on every rep. Lift the weight quickly & lower the weight slowly.
Don't skip leg day.
Don't skip cardio.
Do ab workouts every day that you can. Don't force it if your abs are sore.

Isolated ab workouts are unnecessary. They will get plenty strong from general, compound exercises.

Nah you should definitely incorporate ab workouts into any routine. A strong core helps with compound movements & preventing injuries.
