Just read the article and I am loving the idea of all the love PVP will be getting. One thing seems to be missing. I understand you want to let guardians show off their skills. But why does this require us not so PVP player to suffer ? Trials of Osiris , Trials of the Nine and Competitive PVP have always rewarded high end gear and unbelievably strong weapons yet, no one has ever thought of restricting these weapons to their game mode or PVE. We are currently getting destroyed in Iron Banned by the Igneous Hammer and Astral Horizon and why ? Because these high end weapons are tolerated in regular PVP activities. If you truly want to bring a more balanced PVP experience to the game, please lock these weapons out of regular PVP activities. I have more hours on the game than most of these people and yet, there is no way I can find the time, patience, or even a fireteam willing to even attempt Trials of Osiris. So Bungie, I might not be a streamer or the type of person to send feedback too often, but I am one who truly enjoys the game, an avid collector, a father 3 new light guardians and a fan of what you are doing but please, take the equipment locking into consideration.
