• VoG is getting a master difficulty, they would like all raids and dungeons in the future to get one
• Adept raid/dungeon gear will drop from master difficulty raids/dungeons
• Trasmog comes in season 14, with Ada-1 as the vendor
• You need to do quests to receive mats to transmog a piece, or pay sliver for it.

• PC and console players will only be matched together if PC players invite console players to play with them

2 RespuestasHonestly things like shaders...why did this take so long and why was it a thing? I am not being mad just super curious about odd design choices this game has/had. Really scratching my head when it comes to so many decisions
-
2 RespuestasPower level only goes up 10 next season... Bungie will cut down on pinnacle reward locations and make all just a +1. It will still be the same grind to get to max level.
-
14 Respuestas
VoG is getting a master difficulty, they would like all raids and dungeons in the future to get one
$10 is on Bungie being cowards and just slapping on champions and harder hitting adds for "master" raids. FFS, its like Bungie refuses to remember the "WoW" that they played did more than that to make it have such a massive active raiding community. Hard modes mean you EXPAND UPON THE ENCOUNTERS.

4 RespuestasYes, celebrate! We have some good news today. But don't get carried away yet. I also have a couple things to say. It's good when we say LET'S GO! But me, I'm not going anywhere. I quit the game just before sunsetting, and it left a really sour taste. I'm not moving forward. I've totally quit on the game now. Yes, today is a win. But we also lost. We lose 3 years worth of rewards. In the end, we didn't win much. They wanted to sunset. And they did 3 years worth of rewards. Yes, go and celebrate. But make sure you read everything they said. They said "they will take the time this year to research and validate a plan that creates a fresh and balanceable ecosystem." At the moment, we don't know what that means and what it will look like. This is Bunyon you are talking about. They could come up with any BS anytime they want. They also said "we believe there’s nothing more important in Destiny than getting our rewards right." Again, this is Bunyon. We don't know what that means. We don't know what their "RIGHT REWARDS" mean. We know what the "Right" rewards are good for us. But we don't know what it means to them and what the "Right" rewards they wanna bring into the game a year from now. That statement right there is still sketchy. Be observant. Wait and see what they'll do next. I know we got some good news today, celebrate! But there are some bad news as well. They wanted sunsetting, and they got what they came to do. Lose 3 years of our rewards. Never to be used again. They may recycle them back. But we'll never use the ones we got rewarded for in the past 3 years. All that playtime, effort, and rewards, gone! I don't want to rain on our parade, guys. I want you to celebrate. But stay sceptical about the future. You should know who you're dealing here by now. I'm still out! Enjoy the game and hope for the best. I'll be watching you Guardians!

4 RespuestasYou guys getting slightly carried away. Wait till everything they said is in game and running. Cuz atm I know itll have some sort of thing were we get 1 or 2 things we asked for but 50 other things gets nerfed taken away or cost silver or worse. While I like what the twab says and am kinda happy. I'm gonna wait till they release all that, and see how it works and what's good and bad.

8 RespuestasNothing changed except the words being said, everything is still as it was and how it was going to be.
-
18 RespuestasYeah I mean..cool..I guess. Some of you are far too excitable.

1 RespuestaCan you elaborate on the sunset sunsetting. So next season weapons are back to normal but some stuff will still be sunset in a way from what I’m hearing elsewhere.
-
3 RespuestasAm I interpreting this right ... any gear that can hit 1310 now will not be sunset?
-
So you're saying this is the Truman show now and we should believe everything we're told? Sounds familier, where have I heard that before?
-
1 RespuestaSadly the only thing not mentioned was Bungie's strategy to deal with hackers on PC. That has been (and still is) a BIG issue plaguing the game. However they will address DDoS issues on console. The power cap increase may seem like a relief, but will only decrease the number of ways to raise your PL so the grind essentially stays the same. I'm guessing the artifact and bounties are going to play a much bigger role now.
-
And how many times has bungie deceived or straight up lied to the player base? Don’t get excited until we see these changes actually implemented into the game. And don’t forget history has shown us that Bungie only listens to us when their back is against the wall (ex.taken king and forsaken). I’m glad enough of us quit playing for them to actually pay attention
-
2 Respuestashonestly i'm not all that happy with them fixing peaking though. It's going to get rid of a lot of counters for sniping. or it may result in matches slowing down because they don't want to get sniped so nobody pushes.

Goddammit. Why do I keep reading Justin Truman as Justin Trudeau. TRUMAN. TRUMAN. For Gods sake... It's TRUMAN!

Editado por Kouz_MC: 2/26/2021 7:06:37 AMIt’s all good news. Question: dont we already have a world’s first of the VoG? Question 2: is that the content of next season? I mean it’s all good for people who like to pay twice for the same content they already played hundreds of times. But I don’t. If I want to play VoG I go D1. Question 3: did Bungie really thought this through? Most players log on to destiny to grind light. Once max power is reached they quickly switch game. People come on the forums and act like they don’t like power grind bc it gives them an excuse to pretend that the game is awesome and that most haters who laugh at them for playing this game use reasons like power grind. Just like sunsetting. Without sunsetting Bungie needs to create much more content or many players will leave bc they have nothing to do and no excuse to play the same things over and over and over again. The fans who exclusively play destiny will never play anything else, whatever content, sunsetting and the likes. They show the most inelastic demand patterns ever. They are about 1.5mln. I don’t believe the people who left bc of sunsetting represent more than an extreme minority, however those who consider this game boring bc there’s nothing to do other than always playing the same 5 strikes or 5 pvp maps with the same bots in each activity are legions and won’t come back for the VoG, especially when they played it in D1. I will be paying close attention to player data. I’m clearly not positive over the future, but I can be wrong.

8 RespuestasYes, the ASSISTANT director came up with all of this by himself. No team, no anything. He did it all alone .... 🤦
-
Hopefully is just Slightly half-assed, not fully half-assed
-
This is all good stuff. Can't find a thing to be mad about, but Bungie needs to take this momentum and build on it. I'm seeing a lot of promises, and only time will tell how many of them are empty. Point being, this train is getting back on the tracks. I'm cautiously optimistic for the future.
-
I quit when sunsetting was announced and never played again except for a few logins here and there. This is all I needed to come back to this game 👌

4 RespuestasEditado por TheShadow: 2/26/2021 2:44:53 AMWell, it looks like some good news for a change but there are some other changes I would hope they consider that are actually more important than the small improvements they showed in the TWAB. This is just my opinion. -Power, it needs to mean something, and from what I could tell I didn't feel the difference between the soft cap and hard cap. In D1 you could easily see the difference running a raid when it came to taking damage which is another thing I would hope they look into. I feel we are too weak for being Guardians. -The loot system, there is way too much cosmetics in this game and a lot of it revolves around Eververse. Most of that should be placed in activities that we can buy with BD or in the open world. The Bight Dust system ruined the experience of acquiring certain items. -Vendors, they need a proper update, this copy and paste gear isn't cutting it, and the loot pool for weapons needs a refresh like years ago. One of the things I wish they would learn is to use the vendors as they were created for. Amanda Holiday should actually be selling all ships and sparrows. Ikora should have always been updated as the rest of the vanguard actually were in D1. The rest is self-explanatory. -The artifact, IMO it's way too limited to forcing the players to use what they want them to use when there should be more freedom to use what we want within reason. -Replayable content, IMO this is a much-needed improvement to be added to the game. -Updating content, IMO most of the content in this game is irrelevant that it's not worth my time when it should be relevant. Outside of Beyond light needs to be updated like ROI was with Age of triumph. -Stats. this is my biggest pet peeve. All the stats need to matter and the mods should be making a difference but they barely make any difference. Tone down the use of mobility knowing we have perks and mods for that. It's annoying seeing how when I'm trying to improve any other stat other than mobility that it sacrifices another stat I don't want it to and puts it on mobility. We don't need 100% all the time. A skill tree, This is something I rather see more often than not being able to have more control of my build. These are some of the things I can only hope they would look into to improve the experience of playing their game. Having way too much control over how the players play a game is not fun at all.

Editado por RockNotABoulder: 2/26/2021 4:33:56 AMAhhhh. The cycle repeats itself. I really hope that THIS time. Destiny will finally become a GOAT game and STAY that way.

6 RespuestasHe’s been director for how long? A week? And he already did a better job than Luke Smith in almost a 2 years

They could’ve pushed Witch Queen 2 more years, and I still would’ve been just fine given the change in course for sunsetting.
