Why can't there be auto matchmaking for presage?
I don't have any friends that play fps games, so I cannot actually do the presage quest that I paid for!
I feel like it probably wouldn't be a big deal for yous guys to make it auto matchmake. Battlegrounds is a seasonal activity that has auto matchmaking, so why not Presage. If anyone on the bungie team sees this, please tell someone!

Because you can't turn matchmaking off in the game and there is triumphs to complete it solo and that so if they do it there then they lock you out of the triumph and if they change that then they have to change it for every match making activity, join a clan if you want people to do it with and you can also lfg for it on the destiny app

There should be three options on all similar activities; 1) Solo 2) Random Matchmaking As per Matchmaking ON mode ATM 3) Group As per Matchmaking OFF mode ATM It really can't be that hard to implement. It might well be the case that some activities are just too hard to complete with random, non-mic, clueless people....but so what????? If you don't want to run the risk of wasting time with randoms, select option 1 or 3 above.

1 RespuestaWhy do people cry about having options that will, in no way, change the fact that some people can solo flawless master Presage with their left foot while fapping the entire time? I imagine Bungie will start listening to their players around the same time their SPPE players start being helpful, or at least non-toxic. MM would be nice for us god awful players with no friends who paid for the game and just want to get the captain's logs and secrets to be able to complete all the seasonal challenges. Imagine.

If you're not able to solo it then don't solo it. Send messages to people on the tower or use the fireteam section on the app. Honestly it's not like you can't message people to run into on the tower/patrol/strike/matchmade activities.

2 RespuestasThis is definitely soloable. Anarchy makes the final boss so easy. Even without it, you could still use a rocket launcher and use the same sort of strategy. Pop down stairs after you flip the switches, fire a rocket, jump back up, reload, go back down, rinse and repeat.

I think it’s intended to be a solo experience.

It’s not that hard. I’m a big time difficulty wuss and I managed to solo it my first time. You may just need to reevaluate your subclass and loadout. I found the second Respawn restricted encounter to be the hardest. The one in the hanger. Mostly because of the sheer number of enemies. And it’s a mix of enemies that rush you and enemies that snipe you from a distance. Quite annoying. There is a pattern, or controllable triggers, that cause the next wave/group of enemies to spawn. If you notice it you can prioritize targets better to make the fight a little easier. But you’re not entirely wrong that the mission should allow for matchmaking. I don’t think it should be automatic, but you should be able to opt in. It can’t be too hard. It can be solo by default with the “launch” button, but also have a “matchmake” button. I see no reason most activities in the game cannot allow for a solo and a match made option.

It can be soloed, so you don't need matchmaking to complete it, same with dungeons. It's not timed so just take it slow and make sure to have some ammo mods to keep your heavy and special weapons topped off.

This includes Raids and any other group content deemed "too complicated" by the crowd that thinks walking and chewing gum is a difficult task. Since Bungie seems hellbent on refusing to do this, they should at least have the decency to put in a way to find a group in-game that isn't just loading up the Tower and spamming people relentlessly. Leave it to Bungie to make a game that they keep telling you is multiplayer, but then don't put in the systems to make it adequately so. Having to open up a phone app, or the internet on my desktop, and find people through their website that Bungie doesn't visit anymore or go to some other 3rd-party site is not an adequate replacement no matter how many times the Defense Force says it is.

If you can’t solo that mission then ur just under leveled. Me a pretty causal player soloed it in the 1290’s

Editado por silentbutviolent: 2/22/2021 3:42:48 PMtook me about 2 hours first time to get to the boss solo. died after 2nd damage phase and i didn't have time to try again. did it yesterday using lfg with 1 guy that had done it and one new guy and it took about 15-20 minutes. none of us used mics. i prefer it be kept with no matchmaking for solo runs. it's quite fun and challenging solo.

I LFGed a group on Saturday, none of us had mics and I went in blind. We managed to succeed in about 45 minutes. Wasn’t bad at all.

16 RespuestasEverything should have optional matchmaking and have a solo option imo. That being said presage can be soloed I found an easy method using jotunn, the seasonal rocket launcher and the Iron Banner auto (any auto will do fine). End boss is the easy part, drop down fire of a few jotunn rounds jump back up clear mobs to restock ammo rinse and repeat. Could probably swap the auto out for a kinetic sniper or shottie for more hard hits on the boss and a faster run through though
