120 cannons make alot of guns redundant in pvp, 180 scouts,140 cannons,bows,snipers..etc
its very difficult to use anything other then a 120 add the over use of felwinters crutch and pvp is once again boring.
140s basically mean your playing to lose.

Yup, trials on PS4 this week, in descending order of kills: Felwinter's Steady Hand Arbalest Adored Sturm Seraph Shotgun True Prophecy Last Word Crimson Hawkmoon The map makes no difference, it is virtually the same every week. No non-hand cannon primary ever makes it into the top 10. Of the HCs, 120s dominate. I didn't play trials, obviously, data from trials report. Bungie plans no changes because obviously this is fine.
-
people use guns??? All I see is stasis lmao
-
1 RespuestaMy max range HawkMoon enters the chat ~“Lies do not become us”, I am a weapon of Action!!! And even so this meta is 10x better than 8 months of Gnawing/Suros Spam.
-
I like some 180s but im legit the teams detriment so theres that

1 RespuestaEditado por ArcaneSword: 2/7/2021 11:34:03 PMI stopped using them all together. I only like pulse rifles now. I pulled out my old sunset rapid fire pulse and it feels really good in control. (I personally use Darkest Before still but objectively speaking, Outlast or Claws of the Wolf would probably serve more people well considering the mod slot). Edit: I 100% agree with you though. 120 HC's are way too oppressive given their damage and range.

5 RespuestasEditado por amazinj2084: 2/9/2021 12:54:05 AM120s are the only specificqlly made, long range hand cannons. I mean people would still complain if everyone was using erianas vow exotic hand cannon. You can literally 1 shot people with it by adding weapons of light mods that increase damage. No one is complaining because no one uses it. Back when 120s were 110s, no one complained about it because no one used it. Same with hardlight, no one used it, no one complained until it got a small buff, then once everyone used it, more complaints came. No one used gnawing hunger, but the auto rifle buff had people using it more, then more complaints came. The more a gun is used the more complaints. The less a gun is used, everyones mouth is shut. Sounds like if theres no crucible, it would be quiet in these forums. Just be happy and grateful bungie even allows Pvp.
-
Agreed. A hand cannon should not be outshooting scout rifles at scout rifle ranges.
-
Still better than everyone using gnawing hunger
-
1 RespuestaAce of spades and Dire Promise are still very meta. You can outgun a 120 if you're in range.
-
They need to bring D1 pvp gameplay back, some things, like no special after death, reduce speed of our characters, remove mods and ect.
-
Tis why I use 180 hcs against them or rush with Cerberus or sidearm, as long as you're faster you're fine lol
-
I just think they’re bit to trash can friendly, some dude with 2 brain cells can come around a corner pop u in the head once and the shoot your pinky twos and get a brain dead kill
-
Try an Iron Banner 150 scout with quickdraw/iron grip. It’s a 3 shot, but faster, and longer range. Lol
-
No bro they just got buffed I liked 120s last season let them rule
-
I use Le monarque, and got more hatemail since 120s became meta. So yeah, nerf'em i guess
-
140s have the faster ttk, definitely not redundant. And have you tried Trustee? Snipers definitely still useful too.
-
120s get wasted by 140s at the mid range for HCs. Hit your shots, get closer, and don’t forget lateral movement
-
While I do admit they are strong, under 25ms 140s will always win if youre precise and get 3 headshots. I think they do reach a little too far I think taking range back 5ms or so would let other weapon shine
-
2 RespuestasBungie likes Handcanons ,the last sandbox update for D1 left HCs in charge ,and they keep going back to the HC meta in D2 Complain about the 600 auto meta all you want ,it was a short break from HC spam ,but now we are back shooting each other in a sci-fi game with 1800s revolvers Oh what’s that, they are bringing back another D1 Handcannon next season,Destiny 2:The Handcannon
-
I mean, I feel like 120s are more a problem in Trials and slower pace game modes rather than regular old Control or really most of the game. The pace of 6v6 makes it so the faster kill time and increased versatility of a 140 is very handy in my opinion. Not to say I think 120s are balanced or anything, god no, those things have the range of scouts; just that they can be reasonably outplayed if you are playing your cards right or if the mode is a bit more fast paced.

8 RespuestasI've outplayed 120hcs with a post-nerf 600 rpm auto rifle... but y'all don't wanna hear about that, do ya?
-
Editado por A_mo: 2/7/2021 12:50:40 PMI like them because they give the potential victims of my NTtE a chance to survive. Seriously though, isn't this what everyone wanted? I think this shit is awesome. Handcannons and pulses. How is that bad? Yes they have long range but maybe that has something to do with the fact that stasis just came out and maybe they thought people would want to keep their distance while figuring it out. Have your shotgun, have your handcannon. I have my pulse and my sidearm. Next season people will have their dreadful fusion rifles. Isn't this the way its supposed to be.
-
All the weapons you've mentioned are still good in pvp, and can still outplay a 120 hc users.
-
Literally every season there is a meta and every season people moan about how oppressive the meta is - next season it will be pulse etc. People who are good at pvp will always use a mix of weapons because they are good enough to make different load outs work, people who are not so great will use the meta because why wouldn’t you? I wish I was good enough to mix up load outs but I’m not so I’ll use whatever give me the best chance of getting a few kills

2 RespuestasThey have a slower TTK than most other guns. Just don’t suck and you’ll win
