Instead of nerfing 120s Buff them BUT bring back 150 HCs.
So 120s are the meta, stifling so. With sturm also having hidden icarus grip. You can play something else but its sub-optimal, tier 2, non-competitive.
So first bring back 150HC, 140s were never good(save ace when it kept memento when stowed, long ago) & were a change made solely to reflect the increased ttk across the board with Beyond Light. Not for balance but because of a leadership choice to over increase pvp ttk.
Second [b]BUFF[/b] 120 range, by 5-6m. The reason for the minor buff so they retain their value/competitive nature by out ranging the 150HC and remain a competitive choice.
Its that or 120 HC's are getting a nerf.

Or how about we make other weapon classes a little more relevant. Besides shotguns, handcannons outperform every other weapon class at every range. They outdo scout rifles, assaults, handguns, pulse, sniperd, etc. The balance between weapon classes in this game is terrible. There's no reason to run anything other than handcannons and shotguns, and that's incredibly boring to me.
