As much as parts of this game, and obviously sunsetting, are annoying;
I personally find it very enjoyable and think it’s the best value for money game I’ve ever owned or played.
Have a nice day. 👍
Edit: Just gonna throw an edit on here for perspective before turning in for the night.
By September I really felt burnt out and wasn’t at all convinced by the seasonal model, so I took a break for a while.
Played several other games such as avengers/Tsushima/BF5/Doom Eternal/Tony hawks/max payne 3 amongst others.
Never really had any intention of coming back, (but I’ve thought that before 🤦♂️)
Then, once I was bored of other games, watched all the superhero movies, still couldn’t work because of Covid, and Cyberpunk released with loads of bugs and I couldn’t afford it anyway, Xbox had offered me the game pass for a pound for 3 months and I did what I thought was unthinkable, I cross saved my characters over and thought “what the hell, I’ll give beyond light a go”
3 and a half weeks later and I’m still loving it, I don’t really miss what’s been vaulted. I really enjoyed the campaign and I love Europa.
I won’t lie, I’ve made rant posts on here and the sunsetting does make me feel restricted to 1 character, but today I’ve been in a real good mood and with all the doom and gloom in the world I felt like spreading some love.
Ironically, I’ve inspired some arguments 😂, but I stand by my original point that this game is truly unique and nothing else brings me back time and again.
And even though I’ve played all this for free, I’ve paid for all previous expansions and truly believe I’ve got my money’s worth.
Not sure if I’ll be back next season, but I will return and when I do, I’ll just have to get whatever armour is available then.
Stay safe guardians, there are bigger problems than a game not being the way you want it to be at the moment.

Editado por RAUDRULF: 1/28/2021 4:34:34 PMI ran into a postbox today. I was busy watching pokimane watching someone who was watching someone talking about someone watching someone and next moment, boom... In someones drive way, with what feels like 3 cracked ribs and a bruised ego, this woman with her yorkie showed up and asked me if I am ok. I started doing push ups and parkour right there and then to not make it obvious that I just bailed, but it did not fool her as there was a sharp pain in my stomach and blood coming out of my nose. She asked me if i was ok, and I asked her yeah, is it because of my super parkour skills or the blood coming out of my nose? To which she replied, No... because you are watching Pokimane. My world collapsed, as I knew right there and then the error of my ways, and that me enjoying her watching people who watched other people that talked about something they saw had to come to an end. Then on the walk home, bruised... I found a Rick Kackis video, I was hooked. I Could not stop watching, I am in hospital now with a broken femur, ribs and torn something. I have been here for 2 weeks now. And still watching the video. Cannot wait till it ends.

The trick to enjoy the game is that when you feel burnned out and tired of the bullshit....play more! You will have then convinced yourself that D2 is an amazing game and you stuck with it and you're grateful to Bungie for D2 and you'll get some Silver and a new shiny ship.

1 RespuestaEditado por Fleecy-Sentry: 1/25/2021 8:46:00 AMI love the game. I want to keep enjoying it i really do. But it’s difficult when Pvp is unbalanced and the community is divided on a lot of topics. I’m personally a pve but I can’t ignore that there’s multiple aspects to the game that need balancing. Bungies apparent lack of player appreciation is a huge factor. Sunsetting was not meant for D2. It worked for D1 since it was introduced very early on, before we had a chance to have a favorite loadout. They waited WAY too long to implement it into D2. THATS why it failed. That and for those who saw the post back in D1 days, bungie removed it in D2 in an attempt to help “respect the players time put into the game.”

It’s really not that bad if you take a break. I hadn’t played this game for about 2 years. Came back for this season and was pleasantly surprised. Except for pvp - it’s still terrible. The raid is arguably one of, if not the best. There are some issues with the unnecessary grinding and traveling around the map for no reason as well as the long dialects without cut scenes. I would like it to be a little easier to acquire the exotics and pinnacle weapons I missed out on. Felwinters is a problem, but they’re bringing it back soon All in all, the game hasn’t felt this good in a long time

1 Respuesta90% of your post is you whining.
-
For better or worse this is the only game I played for five years straight. Just wish it could get back to being the game I enjoyed playing before, I’d happily play for many more years.
-
I'm sure in some ways the game is more fun and "fresher" if you play very little. Overall though, it's a game that people WANT to love but Bungie seems intent on watching (helping) it burn to the ground (as fast as possible) with questionable decision after questionable decision. Very frustrating.
-
The problem is, it was far more enjoyable, but they keep taking fun out of it, piece by piece.
-
Think I've played maybe 2 hours in the last few weeks good times
-
git out!
-
No. I think the community crossed that bridge a long time ago.

2 RespuestasIt’s been almost a month since I last played this. But destiny 1 is quite enjoyable.

Value will vary from person to person and without quality content to where many things are being reused over and over again is only showing this company is just reselling what we already paid for in this game and the first one. How is that "value for the money spent" to repay for what you paid for already? Nothing person but what you said reads like fake news. Do you know what positivity would actually be with this game and company? If this company had the balls to actually communicate with the player base and apply the feedback to the game. Not just throw these stupid TWEAB'S out there showing how out of touch they actually are with the entire player base.

I’m positive that sunsetting has been poorly implemented. I’m positive that stasis has ruined pvp. I’m positive that destiny should be called Bounty Hunter

3 RespuestasIt peeves me off that people will attack this guy for just liking the game. Shows how many basement dwelling crotch goblins are here just to be mean.

1 RespuestaI love destiny however, I believe that most frustrations do not come from sunsetting, lack of content or pvp issues (of which there are a lot). I truly believe the majority of players frustrations come from 'wasted potential'. A moaning community doesn't mean they want the game to fail, quite the opposite.. they want it to succeed and are fed up that its not. Now here is where we could list the things that are wrong or need working on: (not gonna do that). My main annoyance is that the community are so vocal and provide such great ideas, bungie doesn't even need to come up with their own, but they don't implement any of them, or if they do its half baked. My idea is this (for my pvp brothers). Return all the maps but on the vaulted ones have shaxx say a one liner 'this is a simulation of Mars etc'. It would still make sense within the futuristic tone of the game. Anyways, yeah I love destiny and have my fingers crossed.

I have to agree. Another thing I love about the game series is how great it sounds. Supers, guns, abilites, even just ambience; it's all amazing.

2 RespuestasLmao you haven’t been a gamer long then I got more from doom eternal then this dumpster fire

3 RespuestasEditado por Selljon: 1/25/2021 3:34:03 AMLove how this community so negative that when you even try to be happy you get downvoted to oblivion. I’ve lost my respect for anyone who has done so. All he said in his edit was “i’m enjoying the game”. If YOU don’t enjoy it then that’s YOUR problem. Don’t come bash him because he is enjoying something you don’t. Very low and disrespectful... Edit: Jedi if you are ever down to do DSC my team usually needs one. Message me if so.

I still think destiny 2 is a very good game. But we've always come so close to perfection but then something changes. Destiny dosen't need a new identity every summer. I would've been fine if things stayed in the forsaken era style. They could reduce the number of seasons if nessesary, maybe 2 seasons a year but make the seasons bigger.

1 RespuestaHaving just returned from over a year away due to dissatisfaction with Shadow keep I have to say I've been having quite a bit of fun this last week. The new buffs to various exotics and subclasses is really fun. And specifically the new six shooter buff on gunslinger has made me pretty much make my once Dusty Hunter my new main focus. and I am genuinely enjoying the new version of Gambit as well. So all in all so far I am happy to be back.

4 RespuestasI love the game too. Fully support sunsetting. Dont have many gripes with anything. Lots of people on here just hate to hate.
-
May I have some of your kool-aid please. 👍

1 RespuestaThat’s what I do, burnout is real with games like this, best thing I ever done was take a break from destiny.
-
I like the game too. But I will bash it because it can use some major long term adjusts so I can stay engaged. I’ve been with destiny since the beta of d1
