⚠️ Don’t waste time doing the Coup de Grace mission, it’s bugged! ⚠️
Title says it all.
The worst part is Bungie is not going to make a fix for at least a week, since that’s how they work. They never drop everything to fix something unless it’s a bug that’s highly beneficial to players.

2 RespuestasThis is what got us through, I can not say it will or won't work for anybody else. The quest bugged on us twice before we did this. Start out by having the leader of the fireteam be the one that activates the lure. Before he or she does that, position one person towards the back of the room. From where you place the lure, go straight down the path, under that arch, and continue straight until you almost enter the room at the end of the path, directly in line with where you place the lure. (We only had two people) Place the lure. Have at least one person shoot the HC until he moves under the arch. Shoot again until he moves to the right of the arch. At this point, wait until two knights spawn. (the ones that give the buff) They do spawn in two locations, and if we did not allow both to spawn before killing them, it would glitch. Kill both knights, take the buff, and shoot the HC, but do not kill him. He should despawn and the orb should show in the archway. Shoot it to form the portal. From that point, we did not have another problem, as long as we only injured the HC and did not kill him. Hope this works for people........

1 of bungies bigst problems is bungie will not do fixss or updates be4 reset day so lot of the time little bugs r a lot biger by the time bungie do the fixs

6 RespuestasExploitable glitch that benefits players and cuts down grind time - Patched within hours. Unavoidable glitch that increases players grind time or just straight up blocks progression - weeks to a month before patched. Bungie at their finest.

1 RespuestaThe ship is there to farm the mission weekly 3 times. They put a cosmetic in grind to make Eververse look like less scummy. I ain’t farming a boring ass mission for a ship.

It is bugged, you can grab powerful drops over and over again. Pretty nice bug in my eyes for quickly leveling a third character

I was thinking of the bug that knights stop appearing and you cann't finish the mission or the dark orb appear to be unshootable and you have to restart the game but I guess this too yeah it's pretty worthless and buged

5 RespuestasEnding is a complete disappointment. It makes you think that Uldren is going to leave Spider and finally enter the Tower, but no. He literally turns around after leaving Spider's Lair, and goes back to his spot. Seriously Bungie? You made a cutscene where he leaves. People had to make it, actors provided their vocal work, and nothing changed.

Tried the mission 5 times last night. Bugged out every time and unable to be completed. I even followed Bungie Help's advice posted on Twitter about slowing down when damaging the boss (used primaries only) as well as waiting a bit before destroying the blight orb to progress the mission. It continued to bug out and I either could not break the orb as it stopped taking damage or the boss would eventually freeze up and never get to the point where he leaves and the orb is available to destroy. I had one time where the boss just stayed there and continued taking damage, albeit very little. Took me quite some time to kill him while he was stuck in place and not moving or attacking (ran out of ammo multiple times), and it STILL didn't progress even after he died. I gave up on the mission entirely until they make it able to be completed.

I had no problem with the mission on my first try and even got the ship on my first try, and I wasn't even aware of any bugs

Yeah it happened to me too someone else did mention it here to so just to reiterate don't do too much damage. If you brought the Lament for the champions don't use it on the boss. Shoot it with a basic primary weapon or pace yourself. Doesn't excuse the mission but it should work.

You can’t do too much damage to the boss too quickly, and you can’t shoot the blights before your waypoints update. In essence, you have to purposely go slowly AND, counter intuitively to [b][i]EVERY OTHER ACTIVITY IN DESTINY HISTORY[/i][/b]...not melt the big enemy as fast as possible. Everyone keeps pointing out that Osiris, Crow, even at one point the Jedi Ghost of Cayde tells you “the Celebrant must die in the Ascendant Realm”.

Well the same mission is also glitched to grant farmable unlimited powerful drops... soo.. they may patch it sooner than we think
