So I recently returned to the tweet Luke made upon splitting from activision, about how they were moving the game in a direction that was best for the dedicated playerbase and they were proud of Forsaken... and now I’m just wondering what happened. Activision left because Destiny was finally moving towards the dedicated playerbase again, and now between super sunsetting and no transparency with PvP (like literally 0 none no transparency at all they just tell us what they’re going to do and then do it like a week later), it feels like this has gone a complete 180 because it feels like we’re back in the D2 Y1 boat all over again.
The game is lacking any endgame, Bungie is back to doing whatever the -blam!- they want, without regard to almost any community sentiment, and they aren’t even bothering to say “we hear you” anymore. Like seriously - not even any minor acknowledgement about the massive community backlash about super sunsetting. NONE!!! If they said “we’re working on a response” or “we’ll inform you of our plans after the break” then maybe we would have SOMETHING to cling on to. But we’ve gotten NOTHING!!! I don’t understand how Bungie is more silent NOW than back in the goddamn CoO days!!!!!!!
This, uh... kinda turned into more of a rant than I intended, but it’s like 5:30 am rn and im basically shitposting xD

15 RespuestasI see posts like this, and I don’t know whether I’m supposed to laugh, or cry. Remember the “Remove Enhancement Cores from Infusion” movement? A lot of us were trying to tell the rest of you about the direction this franchise was heading in, and we were met by by contempt and derision by the ‘hardcore’. Am I happy about what’s happening to Destiny? No, no I’m not. But I also don’t feel any sympathy for all you complainers. Instead of trying to put the fire out when it was still a small ( manageable ) flame, you waited until the whole entire house burnt down before before you made an attempt to confront the problem.
