Crossplay has been mentioned. Let’s just get this out of the way WE ONLY WANT CONSOLE CROSSPLAY BUNGIE !!!
Basically the title. Crossplay would be great. But with where PC is with 0 anticheat and m+k in general you can just leave that out of the console echo system. Look no further than COD to understand how bad all crossplay with no option to toggle PC off is. That is all.
Edit : Hey everyone, thanks for the reply. #1 I should have mentioned toggling. PC for PVE on opt in would open the game up for everyone. #2 I see a lot of you are on PS. You cannot switch off crossplay in COD on Xbox, that is a Sony feature. At least in MW. Haven’t played Cold War.

4 RespuestasM&K doesn’t have the ungodly amount of aim assist that you console players have. A decent player on a controller can run a train on a PC player so long as the controller has AA. It only really matters in games without it. Secondly, irrc there are adapters where you can run M&K on consoles.

Please explain your view on pc cheating. I see you only play x box and psn. So how could you possibly have an option. I played 6 yeast on psn, the last 3 months have been exclusive on PC. I have only seen 1 legit cheater. And the pc gameplay, the way the weapons function is far better. It actually feels like a different experience. Please don't drag us pc players down because you suck.

Honestly they should just update the console version to be the same as the pc version and support controller and m&k. It's coming to consoles anyway. Razer already offers a m&k for Xbox, im sure there's other companies too. There's probably more people running a controller on pc than you think and I dont think its that big of a deal. Each input kinda does something a little different and have their own merits for different play styles. Using a controller was practically mandatory for the last word. Performance wise the new consoles run around 20fps better than my rig. As far as that goes 60 fps vs 120 fps isn't going to give one person an advantage over the other. I haven't noticed any blatant cheating since BL dropped. They're taking measures. With an anti cheat system in place before cross play launches you literally have nothing to cry about.

28 RespuestasIf you are still playing on PS4/XB1 you should better worry about cross-gen which is available now. You won't stand any chance against PS5/XB Series X players with their much higher and stabile framerates and fov settings. The point that m+k players are superior over controller players is really a myth. People should stop arguing about that.

You can actually turn off cross play in modern warfare it’s only for warzone where you can’t do it on Xbox

Modern warefare definitely had a toggle on Xbox so you’re wrong there to start. Sony isn’t that special. Honestly as far as pc vs console goes, there isn’t much to worry about besides cheaters. 30 fps last gen players will still have to play against 60 fps next gen players. Frames above 60 do help but aren’t noticeable to the naked eye so unless you’re an professional it won’t matter. I play pc at 144 fps with a controller and can say without a doubt I stand a chance against every single m&k user. The guys who poop on me are the same guys who used to on D1 when they had a controller in their hands (streamers etc). I’ve still held my own against some very high tier m&k users even with my weak controller (not even an elite for better mapping). If you’re scared of the competition, fine we get it it’s easier to be on PlayStation or Xbox since most good players switched to pc. Get over it though, bump your sens up to 10 and hit your shots and you’ll do fine <3

PvE console + pc. PvP console only unless you invite a pc player to your fireteam. Gambit same as PvP

7 RespuestasI play on pc with controller, its not really that big a deal. Im able to compete just fine even vs a couple of youtubers like ifrostbolt. The only thing I suggest is all console players use traction because thats hands down the most important mod to be able to compete vs a mouse and keyboard. You will get deleted if you cant turn out of trouble which is why traction is so important

If a pc player is in you're party, then you will match up against other pc players... you dont just go around matching pc players unless you are in a party with them. And no they shouldnt just "keep it between console", i and plenty others that play pc would love to be able to play with our console friends.

2 RespuestasTheir lots of good controller players in pc game that support AA like destiny cod fortnite etc But average console player thinks kbm instantly morphs you into shroud Having haigh sens mouse is actually shit for accuracy, most good aimers use low sens on mouse and train their whole arm to move faster which hard to master to get high percentage accuracy in any game Keyboard in the other hand is 10x harder to master move and pres keys fast Kbm has a higher skill ceiling than controller but most console player have no clue what it takes to be good at Kbm I been on console all my life until 2 years When I started using i thought the same as everyone "yeah I can do 360 in zippy blah blah blah" but boy reality kicked in hard kbm was fking hard to learn I practiced ALLOT played with kbm in all games to get some muscle memory and behold 2 years later I have surpassed what I can do before with controller by 10 folds and now am average as pc player circle By the way when I used controller back in the day I had pretty good aim above average I can even play games without AA on and still hit shots

My opinion is that there should definitely be some sort of toggle for pvp crossplay between console and pc but a crossplay toggle overall or for matchmade activities sounds like the type of thing that benefits nobody and makes it so the pc and console community is more blocked off from each other(But then again crossplay could create performance issues or something like that in which case a toggle for all would be good). Some people in this forum are talking about how it'll be harder for them to complete bounty and quest objectives in matchmade activities like strikes. My proposed solution is to have the option to go into normally matchmade pve activities but without matchmaking. Maybe even find a way to do this for patrol zones. I remember back in black armory part of one of the quests was to kill a specific captain that spawned near failsafe. There would be lots of people there trying to get the final blow to complete the quest and the captain only spawned about every 10 minutes. A summary of my point is allow crossplay to be optionable for pvp and allow non matchmaking for strikes/patrol zones.

PvP would be your issue there. But to be frankly blunt. They have no anti cheat across all platforms. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.
