Factions - one of the most overrated aspects of Destiny ever.

3 different armour sets to earn. Ghosts to earn. Ships to earn. Shaders to earn. Weapons to earn with a weekly reset every week. Exotic class item quests. All available to level up beside other content. So more content in themselves than most of this DLC lmfaooo. Yea...totally overrated....

Stick your passive aggression up your ass. Making a list has nothing to do with whether Factions was overrated or not. Did I say it didn't give gear? Did I say some of that gear was not worth getting? No, I did not. I said Factions was overrated, big time. Faction rallies? Even worse. Total non events that only gave the semblance of something to do because there was absolutely nothing else to do in the game at the time. If Bungie put the exact same set-up for Factions from then into the game now, it would get destroyed with negative feedback as a non-event with little to no impact on the game.

Bungie made them the most boring activities ever and then blamed players for not taking part and used that as excuse not to bring them back. Explain why they were overrated then instead do just posting a statement with zero substance or reasoning next time.

Factions is highly overrated because the majority of the gear was non-descript filler, (apart from Hung Jury from Dead Orbit and exotic cloaks), that was not worth chasing. There was very little gameplay for aligning to a particular faction except getting the most kills (which Dead Orbit nearly always won). Being in a Faction meant nothing. No real affiliation and worse still you could just hop from Faction to Faction undermining the whole concept of Factions in the first place. Lastly, I can still remember the feedback for Factions when it was live being overwhelmingly negative. The franchise has moved on and content since which was much more substantive than Factions has been slated for not having enough content. I'll tell you what, let's have Factions back and let's see how it received.
