Please for the love of god get freeze out of pvp
Being frozen in pvp is the biggest mistake ever. I love playing crucible but lately I can’t stand to go in the play list at all it’s not fun to be frozen in place by broken abilities. You had crucible gun play to abilities right pre beyond light

Git gud boi. Jokes aside i do agree that stasis is annoying to deal with but this also make me play more tactical instead of just aping around the map. Idk bout you but to me stasis is a pretty good adition.

3 RespuestasI feel like you should only take damage from breaking out of ice if it’s through getting hit by someone’s super. You shouldn’t be able to get frozen (by a stasis grenade) while in ur super. Any ability that has the potential to instantly freeze you or one shot you should have a charge up time before thrown, like hand held nova. Hunter ninja stars need to be changed. The melee ability needs to be a small A.O.E. Kama we can throw, a direct hit freezes the enemy, if it hits near them they should be slowed for 2 seconds. Makes no sense for bungie to give warlocks a instant ice staff melee ability and Titans a falcon ice punch that’s used for combat or get out situations with zero charge up time required.. while you give Hunters one ninja star while the second one is on cool down. Again Hunter stasis super needs a change or completely reworked. They gave us a instant cast ability that does a damage over time effect. That’s not going to work bungie.. that’s like the warlock nova bomb doing zero damage to you when hit, you only take damage from the small slow tracking orbs that come out afterwards. Nobody’s dying from our stasis tornado, it’s TOO SLOW and TOO WEAK. People are breaking out of the ice an simply jumping out of the tornado..

I have double tapped the fk out of b as a hunter and I can't ever break free 99 percent of time with 50 resilience. My son said just double tap b b just like that and let go its that simple Oh my God no its not! Just b b i feel way more stuck. So I can't even begin to imagine with how long freeze lasts... the su-ck is real. Still learning but then I switch to other two and its like long press half press squat emote press bs. Its very stressful in pvp hahaha. 🤗

If I’ve noticed one thing it’s necessarily the freeze anymore imo, it’s the slow effect, that’s what they need to change. It affect to many things to make a duel even possible

In the interest of balance, it's simple. Put all grenades and melee abilities, i.e. shoulder charge; on a 52 second cooldown for lvl 10. To reflect the cool down of stasis abilities. Reduce its damage as well. There shouldn't be only 1 melee ability in the game that can ohk. Let alone giving 1 class 3 of them. Remove tracking from hammers, and shields. Implement on ground only, kills for smash. Wait ... why are you mad?! I thought this was about balancing "broken" abilities? The reality is; there is nothing wrong with stasis. You got frozen and killed? Where's the complaining about lightning grenades instant killing? You have almost no health after breaking freeze? Where's the hate for grenades that keave you 1hp? Launch super across map? Hammers, shields, crash, dawn blade? Can you walk around any of them as they come at you? No! Guess they need a nerf. Stasis abilities are on a MUCH longer cooldown than any other class ability, but I don't hear complaining about 14 second shoulder charge spamming. 12 second crash smashing. The absolute reality is: [spoiler]STASIS IS DOING ITS JOB, CHANGING UP THE GAME & YOU DONT LIKE IT[/spoiler]

I almost never get frozen, i hate crucible and have very low of but i almost never get frozen

7 RespuestasJust to point this out, freeze is actually beneficial to you, because its SLOWER than actually just killing you. Enemies running stasis subclasses have to spend more time actually killing you instead of just one shotting you. Think of titans. They freeze grenade then melee you. Normally they would just 1 hit melee you. See the point?

2 RespuestasStasis abilites... Hate to say it, but it exposes bad play if you are getting frozen. It will expose a weakness in your game and you need to adapt. I am more scared of Arc Staff weilding Hunters or Dawn Blade Warlocks than I am for any stasis abilities. I still can't find a counter for them. If you hear the starting noise you run like hell and don't even attempt to kill them cause it is certain death. Stasis is fine and has added a cool spin to PVP. I still think it is weaker than some light supers TBH.

Freezing doesn’t bother me one bit, it’s a new game mechanic that is helping me to slow down and analyze what’s going on around me before charging in

Editado por More Power: 12/4/2020 7:47:15 PMNerfing/removing is almost always a bad idea.... I argued for Thorn anti-poison armor mods back in D1, instead of ruining the gun through nerfs. That didn't happen, though Bungie did give us anti solar, void and arc DoT class items. Fast forward to D2, I argued for armor mods a year or two ago when people complained about snipe campers and shotgun sliders. Guess what? There are now equip-able armor mods to counter snipers and shotguns. The same could happen for the various freeze abilities.
