Sunset was a failure
Where is the loot?? We’re basically grinding for “new” weapons that are very similar to the loot that was sunset. We’re grinding our lights up doing the same strikes, bounties, etc. every year. What’s the point?

Selling Not Forgotten is a spit in the face as well. Go back and watch all the content creators that got accounts suspended. People were doing anything for the gun. It broke the Crucible for 2 seasons. Talk about an exotic quest how can you sunset and make available a symbol of pride to everyone. I simply don’t understand no one will if they got it before the Nerf it was pure hell for an average player and worse for my friends who helped. I now always use a HC and my Elo shows it because they are so difficult now. Just remove weapons that no one uses. The content added was and is great. Except for the weapons there is not one I enjoy.

7 RespuestasA 600 AR is still a 600 AR A 150 HC is still just a 150 HC A 450 Pulse is still a 450 pulse .. they sunset an ascetic, nothing more. They really needed to just turn the old pinnacles into Exotics. New loot should have seasonal perks that go along with the current story line or theme. This way when they eventually sunset next year it will at least make sense. It also makes the new loot desirable vs just another HC.. But you know... making content is hard man!!

How did anyone in charge of this game think that is healthy for the game. What drugs are they on. How tired and cloud minded are they right now. Really think about it because it is important to shine a spotlight on this.

I keep on waiting for a bunch of weapons to replace all the weapons that were sunset...and waiting....and waiting...and wait...that’s it...that’s not a bunch.....not even close. 😡

Those who defended sunsetting have been proven objectively wrong, by all accounts. No comments leading up to the DLC as it got closer and now we know why. It’s staggering that they followed through with sunsetting, knowing they didn’t have many new weapons, weren’t refreshing vendors and didn’t have a plan to offset it. It’s ridiculous the garbage I have to use, while I have a better version in my vault collecting dust. Beyond disappointing..

I am actually pretty upset about buying this DLC. I swear I much rather go back to my abusive relationship from 3 years ago than to give Bungie another chance. I am sorry but Bungie doesn't know what they are doing any more.

9 RespuestasWe've been grinding the "same" gear since Destiny's inception. Sunsetting isn't a failure because of the current small pool. Y'all seem to forget this first sunsetting cut is the biggest one they will do. The other one's will be much smaller according to the devs themselves. If we lost this amount of content at the start of each year? Justifiable complaint. But we can't really call their attempt a "failure" until a new sandbox problem that's related to gear arises (and I mean in the balance department,) OR next year when we experience it a second time.

11 RespuestasSunsetting is so BAD, that even a lot of its former supporters changed their minds. I was totally against it, but it would not had been that much a problem if strikes and the first nightfall difficulty were at 1050. When Shadowkeep had been released, most of the activities were at 750. Light power is clearly a problem now, it should not affect most of the game, especially Gambit.

+1 Agreed. Really disappointing. For those saying that we'll get more loot each season, remember we'll also lose more each season too. Bungie seems to be intent of having us all run the same gear and kicking build diversity squarely in the unmentionables. Is a shame, the loadout diversity and weapon levelling is part of what made Destiny different from it's contemporaries - now it seems it's trying to be less original.

4 RespuestasFolks, you expect too much from Bungie. We all should know by now how this works... Nothing is done for our benefit, it’s done for our money and they focus on the easiest way to get it. So, enjoy it for what it is, an almost great game. It really is kind of sad though, running around in these gorgeous worlds they created thinking about what might of been.
