You'd think with all the money Bungie's making from ripping people off buying BL that they would at least make server stability a second priority to keep selling their broken short game. In this case, no one else will be able to buy it, because the servers are down! Bungie, you got to invest money into your own product to make more money, that's how businesses work.

It’s infuriating! I have especially fast internet with no problems until this DLC. I’ve reset modems, routers, Xbox and it doesn’t fix the connection issues. What’s more is my spouse plays as well. I’ll have maddening connection issues and he’s fine, or he can’t play due to contacting messages so much it’s unplayable and I’m fine. We’ve been into all the advanced settings on our modem and router to make sure priorities and whatnot are set. It’s not our equipment or internet device. I actually got an error message that meant my hardware didn’t meet the minimum requirements to play the game 🤬. YES IT DOES! Even the error messages are broken.

Does it then reboot your modem and router for you? Did mine 3 times last week...so far almost so good this week.

I play on pc and ps4. For both I use my phones Internet. On pc I tether with a cable and always have full strength connection. On ps4 I set my phone as a WiFi hotspot and get incredible lag and usually my connection meter is rock bottom. Before beyond light my connection was always full strength on bith doing it this way

I have been getting that alot back in the last season, it started of good no sign of connection issues, then literally 2 or 3 weeks left of that season before bl all hell breaks loose, if i had a penny for every “contacting destiny servers” i’d be a rich person by now or at least 20 or 40 quids more richer

I had the Valor Sub-Rank Up! banner appear so many times due to lag, I thought I made it to 2000.
