Just out of curiosity, how are you approaching the game? Are you just replaying certain parts of certain games, every game in it's entirety, going after every possible achievement, and trying to get all the in game unlockables (Halo 3 & ODST - done, Reach, only 2 more sections to go, Halo CE:A not quite 1/3 done)? I just finished the Halo 3 & ODST unlockables this weekend, and having to do Firefight matchmaking again was actually kinda fun. Being server based makes is SO MUCH better than it was back on original release.
I've been working on it again the past few months and have a 105%(?, maybe 106-107 now) achievement completion, with doing no multiplayer since it first came out, and only sparingly then.
I have the majority of each games achievements completed, leaving a few I will never attempt (LASO, Annual, Deja Vu), and a handful of campaign ones that I still may be able to complete, but may require running co-op to do so (Halo 2 and 4 par scores are a pain).
How and what are you doing on it?
Any goals?
Any parts that you just don't seem able to complete?

3 RespuestasHaven’t played in a good while, but last time I didI was looking for the audio logs in ODST. I was at 29, I believe, but I couldn’t find that last one. If I remember, I actually wound up looking it up, and learning it was within one of the levels. Normally, that wouldn’t be an issue, but due tothe way MCC saves the game, going through a level resets the audio log locations, so I’d have to play through the game up until that level, then find them all again. At that point, I gave up.

1 RespuestaA friend and I have made plans to get through all of the Halo campaign in order on Legendary, but we've been going at it pretty slowly. I occasionally will get in the mood to play matchmaking for halo 2 or 3, especially if I can get any of my friends from the H2 days online.

1 RespuestaI've been completing solo Legendary playthroughs on PC, just need Halo 3 & 4! Other than that man, it's hard to find the strength to LASO. Maybe when I was younger...even then...no way. MCC on PC has been a great opportunity to introduce the younger side of my fam to the game. I'm blessed with a lot of siblings, but their games are Fortnite & Call of Duty. They were just babies when we were all tryharding on Halo 2 / 3 back in the day. Co-oping online campaign with my brother right now at his pace. My brother now out-BR's me on Lockout customs. I am loving it. Getting my butt kicked by gen Z in Halo has been one of my favorite Halo moments in a long time.

1 RespuestaI run through the campaigns from time to time but mostly I just play invasion. Tip: If you want to complete the challenge for beating a mission on legendary do the Uplift Preserve on ODST. Hop in a warthog and drive to the end. Takes 4 minutes.

I'm currently sitting at 680 out of 700 achievements completed.(6565/7000) There might be one or two more I'll get in time but no more than that. I have no interest in suffering through LASO. Right now my only goal is to keep up with the seasonal unlocks they've been releasing. I'm caught up right now with about 25 points saved up for next season. Looking forward to what they do next.

Usually I just screw around in firefight and forge, usually slightly pissing off my friends in the latter. Every so often I’ll go put cowbell on and launch myself across Delta Halo. You can actually skip a decent chunk of the mission with good placement.

I'm not ever going to try for 100% but I play the odd campaign level here and there, working my way through Reach these days.

Editado por Cultmeister: 11/11/2020 9:20:41 AMI’ll play a few missions here and there, or maybe most or all of a game if I have a whole day free, mostly for the nostalgia, but I tend to stay away from multiplayer or completionist stuff. Especially LASO, that was brain haemorrhagingly stressful the first time around when I had all the free time childhood had to offer plus some friends to play with.

I did the campaigns and that is it. None of the old BTB crew plays anymore. Life and Destiny being multi platform fractured my friendslist.

I just have it to play when I feel like. A standard buy for Xbox people, similar to minecraft or forza.

Halo MCC always has been the way for me to just jump back in and play whenever I feel like, whatever I feel like, all on one console. I've been playing through all of them a few times for various reasons, but now I usually just play random stuff. I would like to Achievement Hunt at some point, but it's soooo much.

Just playing Halo MM (preferably 3, but sometimes Reach) with the buds.

I honestly haven’t touched it from when it first came out besides to mess around with the skull that lets you fly around.

When the game released I spent the first few months only doing campaign achievements mainly because the multiplayer was broken. Over the years I've worked on 50s in a couple playlists and most recently just been playing casually with some people in social or getting my 20 in recon slayer for a "exclusive" sniper skin. Playing the game on PC though is definitely a treat and im glad they've took the time to do it even if it still has a ton of issues. Always down to help people with achievements or play some social games.

I play a couple games for fun every now and then. But I avoid CE multiplayer like the plague.
-
... I'm playing through it in order, since I've never played Halo before...
not included in the DLC
-
I just hop on occasionally for the custom games.

Editado por pValue2010: 11/9/2020 10:40:28 PMIf I play it, I particularly play Halo 2 and 3 missions that I’m most fond of with a friend (normal or heroic), typically after consuming an edible and reminiscing about good ol’ times. Achievements and score be damned; I just play to casually enjoy the game.

Me and my friend just jump in for giggle shits. We just did a legendary run. Once I have time we are planning a Laso run.

1 RespuestaI play mostly to keep in touch with my friends. We play once a week usually. We'll usually start with 4v4 and then eventually switch to big team. We also occasionally do firefight or campaign. But big team battle is definitely our go-to playlist. I don't really pay much attention to achievements. I would consider trying to get all of the achievements if it wasn't for that LASO achievement. But beating all the Halos on LASO is nearly impossible, so why even bother lol.

I was running through the main campaigns again when I was trying to break 100k gamerscore, but idk. It just didn't feel the same and I couldn't get into it. I think I got to the second mission after encountering Gravemind before I lost all motivation to continue.
