The vendor weapons from D1 were anything but unique.

I was there. I played D1 for roughly 700 hours. I think you missing my point though. Perhaps I failed to articulate it as well as I should have.

The top 20 weapons? Feel free to use any site you want to check weapon usage numbers. D1 vendor weapons weren’t unique? They weren’t. They were reskins and shared the same perk pool s other weapons with no unique combos. They were stat sticks. We get more weapons every year in D2, they’re just more spread out. Instead of getting 50 every September/October/November we get 30 and then 10-15 every 3 months. The weapons that we do get are not only new skins, but also have unique perk combinations and sometimes unique archetypes.
