I paid $10 for the season pass and it’s accompanying exotic weapons, and now my favorite one (Ruinous Effigy) is being nerfed, devaluating my purchase? WTF kind of business model is this, Bungie?
I guess I won’t be paying for season passes anymore seeing that I can’t keep what I pay for. Not a good move, devaluating your revenue stream.

Oh boohoo. Your in air attack does less damage...use melee on the ground then

Not a good move, devaluating your revenue stream.
If OP said, "I don't think Bungie should be allowed to modify guns already placed in the game that arrived as a result of my willingness to purchase the season..." Then arguments about user agreements would relevant. In fact, his argument is objectively correct. He will not be able to keep what he paid for, the right to play that season... Or the version of the gun that was advertised. And as a result of it changing, it reduced the inherent value both had to him as customer. Which he's well within his right to say and there's no reason to dismiss him. Arguments of semantics undermine the ability to make meaningful changes toward some semblance of balance when the forum becomes a sea of people vying for their own preferences rather than a truly balanced state. One has to be honest about ease of use and how the presence of a thing changes the overall dynamic. It's ok to withdraw interest and monetary support when the entities responsible make choices you can't agree with. Whether it's legal for them to do so or not.

Learn your lesson and never drop a dime on this game.

May be a truth you don't like, but you paid for access to the content. Now the developers can do whatever they want with it, but if you don't like it then don't buy it. Buying the things they sell is how you support the way they do things, so if you don't like that don't pay em.
-
36 Respuestaslol you paid $10 to access their content. you don't own anything....
-
Your an Xbox gamer. So the business model is the game and all future expansions is free on Gamepass. What ya complaining about. Also a gun in a game isn't something you can own. It's not real.

And if bungie found and fixed the reason it is being nerfed now, before it was released, would you be equally as mad that its not more powerful and say your "purchase was devalued" and complain on a forum?
-
1 RespuestaThe business model every -blam!-ing game has? Played aCOD, overwatch, borderlands, halo or any other AAA game in the past decade? You don’t own destiny, even a physical disc isn’t you owning destiny. You own the right to play the game(providing you don’t break any of the agreements you agreed to in the TOS) FURTHERMORE if you actually read the TOS you would see that this post is void as in the TOS it states that Bungie may remove or change literally every asset in the game including both your character and items attained by character. You agreed to the TOS. Know what you’re buying next time.
-
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You paid for a license to play. Please read the T&C from non on instead of Blindly accepting
-
It probably broke the new raid.

107 RespuestasEditado por TheArtist: 10/23/2020 3:36:15 PM1. You have a right to complain about not liking the nerf. That’s feedback. 2. You do not have a right to complain about your “purchase being devalued”. Bungie didn’t sell you any part of the game. You bought a license that allows you to play THEIR game. 3. Bungie is free to make changes to THEIR property whenever they feel like it.
-
Correct you paid for the season pass, the weapon is just a part of it therefore your purchase has not been devalued.
-
You new to live service games. Yeah, shit gets tuned all the time. So?
-
You paid $10 for a season which contained a weapon that’s getting a nerf, but not sunset. Now compare that to people who paid for Destiny 2 at launch, along with the following expansions and seasons when they were new, losing the the games original campaign, certain destinations and activities, and legendary gear from up to Shadow Keep/Season of Undying being sunset. $10 isn’t really worth crying over one gun being nerfed.
-
6 RespuestasThe sheer dumbassery of this post... Name me one multiplayer game that hasn't had rebalancing/nerfs, especially a paid one. Go ahead. I'll wait. If you knew anything about the game, hell any game, you would know first off that nerfs are a thing.
-
So did you only buy the seaosn pass for the gun?
-
Stop crying its only 10 bucks
-
....is dis real life?
-
Editado por Aborted Enigma: 10/23/2020 5:15:30 PMLMFAOOOOOOOOO That’s a lot of crying for somebody that doesn’t even have the gun equipped on any of his characters. You must use it all the time [sarcasm]

These are some high value memes.
-
They've nerfed many exotics n pinnacles over 6 years. Probably get used to it?
-
...what the -blam!-?

4 RespuestasEditado por Seiryoku: 10/23/2020 3:20:15 PMIt's fine for you to complain. This place is for feedback. Whether you "own" anything or not or agreed to a user agreement, it's not a gag order. If the services offered fall short of your expectations, this is the place to mention it. F the pedantic haters trying to tell you, you haven't any right.

2 RespuestasThe gun is garbage anyways
