Im struggling to get my head around what it is exactly you want me to spend £59 on (which is just short of $80, why do europeans pay more for the same game).
You are taking away most of the game areas/weapons/armor/missions. But what are you giving us in place of this, or are we simply paying to downgrade?.
Unlike before as in d1, we cannot go back and replay anything its all just gonna be gone. Now we will be left with a void in between. Would have made more sense to turn of d1, and support d2 while delivering beyond light?
Going forward should we expect the games /dlc we buy, to have a 2 year expiry date? If so please make this clear.
Eververse items should have a trade in value if they also have expirys due to items being sunset. Or again this needs to be made clear.
If you plan on capitalising on the game like this then please make this clear so players can make an informed choice when purchasing things on the platform.
Edit - I have not purchased it, but feel let down as a fully invested player about what is on offer.

Oh but you’re “renting” the new dlc. Later it will be sunset and poof. Your rent is over

You're not paying for a downgrade buddy. The old, shit and outdated content everyone hates (although nobody admits it because being angry is more fun) is going away without you spending a single penny, my friend.

16 RespuestasHey, Nintendo is releasing remasters of Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy, but they're only selling them from September '20 until March '21. Limited availability to create FOMO... And, Sony is vetting players to see if you're a loyal enough customer to only get a chance to pre order a PS5 from them. Gaming has hit a new low. Nothing should surprise you at this point.

You're spending money on 1 new raid and a campaign that will probably be 8 missions long. Congrats!

Your are buying nothing. They are removing half the destinations, adding destiny 1 content. Europa will be boring 100% sure. You are buying for pvp cheater, pvp match without matchmaking. No major pvp sandbox change. Bungie have never care and ran out of idea years ago. So dont buy and since it is free to play It will cost them money to ran theirs potatoes server. Then perhaps (ahahahah) they will “listen” (lol)

You see, the thing is that right now I'm struggling to get my head around why you're buying something you're struggling to get your head around in terms of cost vs content. Now let me tell you my take on that "struggle". As a Destiny vet since 2014, I decided (for the very first time) to not buy Destiny expansion and I've put my money on Cyberpunk. If anything, I'll play the free version of Beyond Light through Xbox Game Pass.

Editado por Atreuss: 9/7/2020 6:04:03 AMAgree with this post. Seeing as BL was due out this month, it is time for bungie to come clean. I don't want trailers or pictures, I want to know what bs they are pulling that they don't want to tell us till launch. I am not pre-ordering either unless they give us more info on the changes.

1 Respuestathe heck are you paying $80 for, even the deluxe preorder in Merica is like $60 or $70 I think. its just some silly cosmetics and access to the Season pass of a few seasons I think if you get deluxe, which really isn't worth it. I refuse to preorder any thing from them any longer, I'm even one of their hugest fans, but I've seen some subpar content come out of them so I won't buy till I know more. A lot more...

1 RespuestaPaying for a huge downgrade is pretty much accurate. Paying for the privilege is being party to your own victimhood. Half the contents and none of your characters. What we can expect is severely limited weapon options, down from thousands to just a handful. Whilst nothing of distinction will be available to be earned as few will be up for the former supergrinds of earnables as Redrix or 21Delerium when they'll have a severely shortened lifespan determined by the company. So it'll just be handouts on tap. Regrinds, reissues, a Bungie meta everywhere, with less replayable content than ever before. Those weapons will include repeat releases so we can enjoy regrinding for the weapon we already earned. And those choices will be determined more than ever by Bungie as to quote Bungie Andrew Hoops they'll just add weapons to shiz on everything else - highly imbalanced OP weapons players didn't want - and then take them away again. Rinse and repeat. Everyone running the exact same provided loadouts - as they are with swords right now - according to the dictation of Bungie. I'll pass.

2 RespuestasWhen I heard about beyond light and its content with all the changes. I determined that I wont be buying it. For one main reason. If I wanted to to do VOG. I'll pop in D1. I will not pay for what is clearly recycled content. Especially when they put up the disclaimer about if you preorder you will get, oh yeah, a recycled weapon from D1. The NTTE. I've already paid for that content once. I'm not paying for it a second time.

Editado por Chazaryx: 9/7/2020 5:58:10 AMThis is why I've elected to wait at least a month after a Destiny Expansion. Bungie has a terrible track record to over promise and underdeliver. In this case, theyre at least being transparent about it. I honestly don't think they should call this an "expansion" though. Then again, Ice Powers™. But ripping out (what? Like 50% of the game?) especially when each expansion brings a unique onslaught of glitches seems horribly Ill-advised. I'm not exactly well-versed in every game out there, but unilaterally ripping out 50% of a game all at once doesn't sound like something that's been attempted before, and for good reason. (Once again, I don't play every game) My best advice is to wait and see what happens and how well received BL is. Hopefully the game won't be rendered nigh inoperable due to the sheer shock of it all. Personally, I'll just be keeping tabs until Lightfall. Because the title in and of itself is too tasty a fruit to ignore. Normally, I'd be excited for Witch Queen, but they teased Savathun too long so I lost interest.
Im struggling to get my head around what it is exactly you want me to spend £59 on (which is just short of $80, why do europeans pay more for the same game).
Its a tax thing, UK pay more tax than almost everyone else in the world. As for the main subject I totally agree, Bungie have always liked to keep most of their releases secret until release, hell most other developers even give patch notes in advance but not Bungie. Its not like downloading an update is an option! Which is why it always amazes me how many people pre-order without even knowing what they're buying. Its damaging to the consumer in the long run. Luckily I have Gamepass Ultimate so I'll get to try it for free, I'd still like to know what the seasons will include though before I shell out for a season pass.

Don’t buy till reviews are out.

Relative. 60=/=60. They aren't determining actual value, but relative value.

Editado por Craigyboy001604: 9/6/2020 3:46:47 PMIf your on Xbox it is supposedly going in the gamepass so no need to buy at first a good way to try before you buy if your not on Xbox I would suggest you wait till after release and see what the reviews say and what the players reactions are and see what is actually going on

You don't need to understand we will happily explain it to you. After your purchase of course

You agreed to these terms it’s on you. They are not taking away the majority that’s a false claim
