Pinnacles are not dropping right
My power level without the seed is 1054, and powerful gear tier 2 and pinnacles are not dropping the correct power levels, I did the contact event on IO and was suppost to give a powerful gear tier 2 at 1055, but it dropped a gauntlet at 1054, and so far only 1 out of 3 pinnacles that I've earned today have dropped at 1056, the pinnacle from means to an end dropped correctly at 1056, but the pinnacles from strikes and crucible both dropped at 1055!!! How am I supposed to reach hard cap if pinnacles arnt dropping correctly??? What the heck bungie??? If i wanted to be screwed by not being able to progress because of incorrect drops, id still be playing The Division 2!!!!

You will not increase any light levels with powerful gear. You are in actual pinnacle land now. Pinnacles are as follows: Crucible = +1 Gambit= +1 3 Strikes = +1 100k Ordeal= +2 Prophecy= +2 PoH= +2 GoS = +2 Means to an End = +2 Those are your sources for increasing light level every week. Welcome to the real grind.

3 RespuestasHi, everyone one here but you is correct. I have a linked a very helpful site on how exactly leveling works in Destiny. Its very clear you may think that you got a + powerful drop. The only way that would happen is if it fell into 1 slot that you happened to have a low power score on that said piece. Powerful does not and will not drop above your OVER ALL power level. Example: All your gear is 1055 except your Heavy weapon, a Powerful source could help you bring that slot to 1055.

9 RespuestasFrom your description, everything dropped at the proper levels. The Contact event drops [u]powerful[/u] gear, not[i] pinnacle[/i] gear. Powerful gear stops being above your power level once you hit 1050, and from then on, will only drop at your base power level (same for Prime engrams). Once at 1050, pinnacles are the only way to increase your power. Means to and End drops a +2 pinnacle, but the pinnacles that drop from Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit are only +1 drops.
