It draws you closer, but grabs you with another tentacle, causing Excal to miss.
You do manage to grab the dagger though!

*I try to break my sword my hand free as I stab at the beast with the dagger in my left hand with all my strength, the strength that allowed me to withstand blows from toaster himself.*
-
You free your hand, and in a last ditch effort the octopus releases a cloud of ink to obscure your vision.
-
*I try to swim above it and bring both my sword and dagger down upon the beast.*
-
Both blades sink deep, and the tentacles relax and lie still. The beast drifts to the floor, lifeless.

Editado por ImaDrizzit: 8/25/2020 10:26:11 PM“Anyone want calamari?” *I push off of its body to bring myself back to the surface and regain my bearings. Then I get back to swimming to the raft.*
-
At the surface, you discover the Elder Elemental has moved much closer to the city, actually tearing through buildings at this point. Looming high above, like a mountain, you see it struggle against ice spells from Holmes and Proserpina. Additionally, the heavy rain is now heavy acid rain, and will damage your/your armor as long as you're in the open.
-
*I look back at the civilians and then swim as fast as I can to the boat so I can get it back to them, paying no heed to the damage I sustain or what damage my suit takes.*
-
You look back, and spot an emergency helicraft pick them up. They're safe, and you spot dozens more craft doing the same.
-
“Aww man, the world doesn’t even need crazy people anymore to jump into water in suits and fight through monsters and acid rain to save people!” *I take cover in a nearby building that they were at and make sure the vehicles get away safely, looking for anything I can do to help.*
-
The rest of the heroes are engaged with slowing the Elder, who is advancing towards the city. Only a few civilian groups are left, and you see craft are taking care of them. It's boss time!
-
*Ill climb up a nearby building and take out another hand cannon from a sheath that acts as a bag of holding. I shall fire at the beast as I look for anything I can stand on in sword range of it.*
-
Anything physical the monster touches crumbles under its weight, so approaching it will be difficult. The hand cannon rounds disappear into the waves, and you're not sure if they damaged the beast or not.
-
“Ahh! I can’t reach it and my suit won’t last until I swim there!” *I look around for any vehicles or anything that I can use to get to the monster.*
-
You spot an Order gunship fly out over the harbor, and two people dive out of it. It circles around, and starts to head back to shore.
-
“I try to wave the ship over to me whilst I strap my sword onto my back with a baldric and take out my frostbrand from the old sword making competition”
-
The gunship spots you, and lowers a rope to help you up.
-
*I grab onto it and get up.* “Thanks guys, your doing a great job out here. Now if you could kindly drop me off at the source of this thing I’ve got some sushi to make!” *I will look around for any allies that need my aid.*
-
"Copy that sir." You spot Holmes engaging the Elder quite literally face to face, as well as Titan advancing on its right flank. The gunship heads towards the Elder, flying above its head. "I don't want to go much lower sir, that thing has reach!"
-
“That’s fine, you did well!” *I will take my sword in two hands, and jump out of the ship, swinging at the elder with all its enchantment and my might, then aiming to land on top of any other enemy one of my allies may be fighting.*

Editado por cinqueMento: 8/25/2020 11:47:23 PMYour blade strikes true, cutting down the Elder's side. As you descend, looking for an enemy to land on, you are suddenly struck from the side. A trident has been stabbed into your side, and what looks like a suit of armor worn by the waves themselves sticks out of the beasts side. "You shall drown as well." The Myrmidon tries to pull you into the Elder's wave, hooking you by the trident.
-
*I bring my feet up to its armor and try to push myself off of it, while I swing my sword from right to left to try to freeze the creature.*
-
The Myrmidon raises the other end of the trident, poking deeper into your side as a result, and deflects your strike with frostbrand. You try to push free, but the trident is securely hooked. The thought occurs to you that this weapon is probably of good quality.
-
*I move one of my foot onto the trident to try to trap it and jab at the monster with my sword.*
-
You trap the trident, but it does force the point further into your side. It's difficult to hit the beast through the wall of water between you, but you manage to land a solid blow on its shoulder. You notice that arm moves slower in response to being frozen. The Elder responds, forcing water to bubble out to cover you. Still attached to the myrmidon, the two of you are now inside the Elder's wave.
-
*With the trident in my side being the only thing keeping me from bleeding out or my suit from falling apart, I fight through the pain. *I bring my sword back as the wave pushes it back and bring it down upon the shoulder that the elemental is holding the trident with. Then I chop it sideways at its head.*
