They vaulted stuff because the game was too big. Should they make the same amount of strikes to match what's going away so the game is still too big? Strikes are free with new light, so it's nice to throw in some filler.

I'm so sick of the "the game is to big" excuse. The game isnt to big it's just filled with useless crap like eververse I mean seriously go to collections and look at all the stuff that is just eververs stuff alone from ships ghosts and shaders to emotes and weapon ornaments. And I know what your going to say well that stuff doesnt take up as much space as planets and strikes that nobody plays. Maybe your right but the fact of the matter is its be one thing if they added more to the actual game aspect and it got to "big" when a lot of the space is taken up by useless eververse crap and just having collections in general is a waste of space. You cant pull out armor period cause random rolls and weapons from for forsaken to today you cant pull out either because random rolls. What is the actual point of it except an arbitrary stamp collectors scrap book to sit there and look at?

Also, the collection hides eververse items from the collections which you never got in previous seasons, so there is far more crap that is not shown, even in the total number.

Exactly. I once saw a post talking about an soundtrack that someone got from d1 that was overly huge for a soundtrack and it turns out there was somthing apart of that had no business being apart of it just taking up space for reasons. It's not the game is to big is bungies idea of a development pipeline is so cluster-blam!-ed with useless and pointless stuff just taking up space.

The game is too complex, not too big. Adding nore strikes isn't going to create any issues that aren't already affecting the game, so there's zero reason we couldn't get more than one.

I'm not asking for a 1:1 content replacement. While I do believe the "game is too big" argument is also bullshit, I actual want to see how Bungie handles it. Will vaulting remove 40GB of data, and will Beyond Light add 10GB? We'll see. No, what I'm doing here is, not going easy on Bungie for being lazy developers "remastering" old strikes. It's worse than in CoO and Warmind when they reused story missions as strikes. Which who knows if the one new strike in BL is or isn't a reused story mission? And if they did that, why not do it 2 more times?

Said in the title that I was not expecting that but 1 strike is bs and lazy it's not to "save space"
