Edit#3...
This is satire. adding more smiley faces and lol's for those of you who don't realize Im not actually asking for my money back.
Now... [cayde-6 voice] ONWARD!
Ahem,
I have essentially paid for products that you have chosen to remove without my permission, and replaced them with more content I must pay for. (Lol)
Imagine buying the original Final Fantasy VII game for PlayStation. (A 3-disk game) Then Square-Enix walks in to your house and take back the first disk, removing access to ONE THIRD of the game. And then tells you to buy a different game in its place to "make up the difference". (Laughing emoji)
I would like my money refunded to my account and I will decide whether or not to re-purchase the content when it returns. (Lol + laughing emoji)
yea, I know there not going to actually do this, but they're treading on legal territory now.(another lol here) It's only a matter of time before someone takes to lawyers instead of forums. (Finger guns emoji + lol)
Edit: oh God. The forum legal defense team have entered the chat.
This post is meant to put content removal in to perspective. Please stop posting me the terms of service links. (Lol here I think)

2 RespuestasYea, another idiot who wants to enjoy a product to its fullest then demand a full refund when he’s done with the product.

I've already contacted Sony asking for a re-fund and to cancel my pre-order. Even saying that, if Beyond Light comes out and it is good I will get it, but at the moment my trust in Bungie is at an all time low. After listing all the stuff that's going, the grind still remains, yet they expect you to do the same grind on less content, I feel it will become even more tiresome just because there's not as much variety. I can't see how they can expect people to play Gambit on just 4 maps, ugh! Not to mention the stability problems they still haven't fixed like the frozen re-spawn for example. I just don't think Bungie has the capability to sustain the game. They say they're all in on Destiny 2, but it has serious stability issues. Every action I do on my PS4 turns into a loading screen, go into menu, load, view gun, load, look at a shader, load. This game needs serious optimisation and they just aren't doing it. Removing stuff may help, but it's a band aid. I want to see improvements before I pay any more money.
-
I agree. It's a reduction not an expansion. People defending this obviously don't mind losing something they paid for. Some quote it was in the terms and conditions. That's something you should receive before you pay with your cash not afterwards. Secondly it's not a player problem it's a bungie problem and we must pay for their incompetence in resolving the current size issues. Today you have numerous issues not working as they should even the Means to an end quest is a problem. Nothing resolved. How could anyone buy a game when the owners cannot rectify current problems is beyond my understanding. I've cancelled my order for beyond light since bungie have zero ability to make this game what it should be.
-
Dude live and learn NEVER buy anything with Bungie attached to it.
-
28 RespuestasI know this post is meant to be satire but i just wanna take a moment to laugh at all the people who rejoiced when Activision split from bungie as if it was some big win. I think enough time has gone on to show that Activision was not truly what was hindering destiny.

3 RespuestasYes. Destiny 2 is a product, not a service. If Destiny 2 was only available as a digital game, then yes, it would be considered a service. But it has a physical disc that you can own. That makes it a product. Remember way back in vanilla D1 when people were able to glitch into areas for the Dark Below and House of Wolves? People were furious because it meant the content was on the disc, but we couldn't access it. Same thing here. The entire Red War campaign is on the disc, but we can't access it even though we own the product. To make everything worse, back when we had to purchase base D2, CoO, Warmind, and Black Armory to Penumbra, it was never said that Bungie could remove content as they pleased. That's false advertising which is illegal in several parts of the world.

3 RespuestasRead the tos you don’t own sh*t.

2 Respuestas>Calls it Satire >Backtracks and implies they’re actually going to be sued Asking for a refund and then providing pseudo-valid reasons doesn’t qualify as “satire”. It sounds more like you’re just playing that card now that people have made your stupidity evident. Read the terms of service next time, they could shut down the entire game tomorrow and you wouldn’t be entitled to a refund. Quit playing and quit giving them money if you hate it so much. Your wallet speaks louder than your ignorant attitude.
-
1 RespuestaThey are taking stuff away to make it easier to maintain.
-
1 RespuestaIt's in the Terms of Service. Plus as a Live Service they can add/Remove all they want. You gave them Permission when you clicked Agreed. No lawyer will touch this. Especially if they say " Did you agree to anything/Did you sign a contract?" Yes and Yes. Good luck with that.

You need a 600 AR level buff to your satire skills my dude

Reading this for the first time after you declared this post satirical. Satire is funny, intelligent and witty. You're 0 for 3 on those pal. Must try harder in future.

Editado por gallp13: 8/25/2020 7:22:46 AMPatience little one. Bungo hasn’t told us the full extent of new content. Wait for all the facts and then make your decision.

11 RespuestasFor those quoting TOS as the get out of jail free card, it’s a sad point to use and actually defend what’s an egregious abuse of position because the reality is vast majority of people are not going to read all the small print (let alone understand the legal terminology nor it’s implications) and most generally work on the concept of ‘If I BUY something I own it - digital/service or otherwise’. However many software providers are using these EULAs and TOS to sneak in what are actually quite sinister clauses effectively meaning that legality of ownership is vastly diluted when in reality it shouldn’t be. Removing content is like the waiter at your restaurant returning after the Entrees and sticking their hand down your throat to remove the appetiser you ate 50 mins prior because well you don’t need that content anymore

Content removal is in pretty clear focus for me lately. Know what else is in focus? My lost interest in this franchise.

5 RespuestasEditado por Trafalgar_Lou: 8/24/2020 2:05:35 PMD1, Day 1, Y1, super vet, hamster wheel riding, plate standing, orb dunking, ghost defending, eververse whaling, Bungie sucking super fan here to tell you....NO! Sorry you payed for all that content but it’s free now! As soon as content is no longer relevant it becomes free so Bungie can market the game as free to play while simultaneously price tagging every DLC, season passes and having more loot in the cash shop than the actual game. If you want to keep the content you payed for play almost any other game.

Does nobody read the tos of online games? 😑

1 RespuestaWhat is the point of this post? I'm trying to understand and the amount of upvotes if just weird. What is wrong with this community? Is it just lack of better posts or what? I'm not knocking OP. Someone explain this.
-
Lmao. Me too. I want all my money back for taking away content then going to resell D1 content in November all of which I purchased so I want a refund on D1 too so maybe I can afford Beyond Light and the season ( seriously you could not give 1 season with DLC? ) . The expansion that takes away content that was payed for and gives you other content you have paid for from an old game. Now I know why the stranger don't have time to explain why she don't gave time to explain. I miss Activision. 🤣

1 RespuestaEverybody shut the f**k up and listen to me;
Buff Sparrows
This shouldn't be a joke.
-
Please go back to original release. These fools owe me 3 or 4 bills.
-
1 RespuestaIts remastered content you goon. If you want to play the remastered Final Fantasy you have to buy it. Holy shit everyone cries so hard over this game. Its hilarious,
-
1 RespuestaIm pretty sure they included in their terms of service that content can go away at any time. Doubt they'd take the risk and get sued by many players.

I would also like £72.69, my paypal is youagreedtotheuserlicence420

19 RespuestasI despise people having TOS as an argument. For me, saying "it's in the TOS, stfu" is on a different level but in the same category as "I was fallowing orders", but anyway. No critics, no feedback is never possible with this mentality, it's just allow to say yes to whatever bungie throw at us. If tomorrow bungie decide to delete all your bright dust, that would be stupid, but that would be in the TOS, so... Being able to do something, doesn't mean they should. And saying yes to anything bungie do, because they can for TOS reasons, would mean that we would still be with fixed weapons and armors rolls, 4 vs 4, no mods, planetary tokens, "power weapons", etc... cool. In the case of the DCV, IF bungie keep it world and achieve a less buggy, more reactive environnement, I'm all in. The refund is obviously a joke, but the simple fact of acknowledge the fact that some players payed for this removed content would be cool. A discount on the prise of beyond light (maybe 5 or 10%), or if it's too much money, even an emblem would be cool gesture.
