Don’t know about you my fellow Titan mains but I believe that in this meta of dodge rolls from the hunters and quick heals from the warlocks titans barricade needs a re-work. I have an idea that might work I don’t really know but it’s better then a barricade that takes two years to bring up and fails to protect you from melees and aoe damage.
I would like barricade to be changed to a shield recharger. So you stick your head out and get them knocked or your being chased with this new ability you can get back in to the fight faster. Titans don’t need dodge but a way to make them tougher as they are supposed to be the juggernauts off the destiny world anyway.
Please let me know what you think would love to hear from you.

Just increase deployment speeds for both barricade and rifts

3 Respuestas
quick heals
Where can I get these rifts from?
-
That shoot through barricade is a lot of fun

2 RespuestasEditado por Kishi: 8/17/2020 3:11:29 AMWe’ve been dodging since the game came out lol wtf do you mean new dodge roll meta
-
barricade is a tough one because it’s extremely powerful in trials, you can quite literally lose a 1v1 because a guy drops his shield and revives his teammate
-
5 RespuestasQuick heals? You can't be talking about rift, because that's anything but quick
-
haven't seen a rift in PvP in forever and I only notice cheesy (bad) players or tryhard wannabees abusing dodge I wouldn't really mind class ability reworks, as long as they are kept balanced

5 RespuestasQuick heals from warlocks? You must be delusional. plus barricades have more use than a rift ever will Literally the only issue with it is the activation time. Thats it. it still has ample use as a wall as not many people waste the time and ammo to take it down. And lets not forget the exotic that lets you spam for days right through it (yes, it has less health, but its still pretty solid for an exotic) Aoe is aoe as well. How else is it supposed to work? And melees dont damage you aside from celestial fire sometimes clipping the wall. If you are referring to getting punched through your wall then you simply dont understand that it puts the enemy down to 1hp, which means they are an easy one shot. Now, with that out of the way. Adding extra shield to your character for the ability will literally be the most busted thing in the game. That makes it so every gunfight you will win if you have that ability. Its literally what one eyed does anyways. More hp is nor fair with the state of the game. This is why rifts havnt been changed.

Both Barricade and Rift need faster cast times at minimum. Tower barricade needs to entrench into the ground so putting them on top of an incline or stairs doesn't let AoE bypass it. Rally Barricade should give you auto-reloading holster.

1 RespuestaI think the main issue is that both Titans and warlocks have to remain still to use their abilities and hunters do not. Movement is a huge part of this game and so giving two classes abilities that cut their movement is so broken. The easiest solution to me would be to make rift and barrier deployable. Think a warlock heal grenade in Atunement of Grace. You toss it like a grenade nearby and it spawns there. That way, you don't have to stop moving, you can throw it in front of you, and move toward it instead of stop for three seconds and allow snipers to take you out before you benefit. It would allow for a lot more zone control and strategic play. Both could help teammates out of sticky situations. Heck, give this to an exotic at least. I would love that.

2 RespuestasI would think something like a sword block but with a titan's arm/hand would be really stellar and keep with the tradition of the character
-
1 RespuestaA arm missle like Boba Fett would be fairly awesome as well (like a moutaintop)
-
1 RespuestaDodge is perfectly fine, but quick heals from rift is laughable. Barricade, especially rally barricade, and rift could use some adjustments.
-
Citan’s Ramparts make it viable.
-
Won't happen because of Trials.
-
5 RespuestasSo you basically want a rift, but mobile?
-
16 RespuestasAh yes. The dodge... Only goes invis with 1 tree in the nightstalker class. The rest you stay visable. Its a escape tool. Its not that bad.
-
1 Respuestamake it so that you need 50 res or less for the barrier we got currently and after that it starts to change shape depending on the res and will turn more and more into a sphere at 100 res it becomes a small ward of dawn basically. that way it would be worth running more res instead of a short cooldown on an already meh ability in PVE and with rally barricade we could get a regular barricade with a small hole we can speak shoot from at 100 res barricades could be so unique but bungie is always afraid of buffing titans, since can't ever do that without making us a glitch fest that breaks the game.
-
Honestly those exotic guantlets that let you fire through it should be standard on the class.
-
I like the idea of a 1 person micro-bubble
-
1 RespuestaBarricades are awesome in PvE, so getting rid of them is just a huge wet towel for PvE mains like myself. I think a faster deploy, smaller barricade for PvP might be cool though, but as a third option. Obviously the other classes would need 3rd options for class abilities as well.
-
Also a buffed jump speed.
-
8 RespuestasBarricade is fine. I agree that AoE damage shouldn't go through it but that a problem that exists with all cover.
-
3 RespuestasAn idea that I heard recently that I would be totally cool with, is if they ever add twilight Garrison it just replaces barricade with Dodge because then it would be balanced and I mean who wouldn’t wanna dodge over a barricade
-
7 RespuestasWhat would be interesting is if one of the choices could be to instead deploy the class energy as a weak version of a sword guard (ei, 30% damage resistance, moderate efficiency and endurance, and then resilience increases the “charge rate”).
