"... It caused me to actually look at the time I was spending, to see what exactly I was accomplishing. It changed how I viewed quests. Why should I do this when I won't be able to use my reward forever? I suddenly found myself having no desire to play whereas before I was excited to get on every time I played.'
This is I think what a lot of people actually are feeling when I see these "Im leaving" thread. I couldn't agree more. I have played about 4hrs+ a day since I picked up D2. Im that kind of addictive gamer and sunsetting is such a depressing idea. I look at it this way:
I am from the old school days of buying a game and its yours, play it till you hate it but you have it none the less. This honestly feels to me like they are taking something I paid for not only with money but 100's and 100's of hours of my time and they are erasing it and forcing me to have Destiny 3 wether I want it or not.
I look at the quests I have to complete and now instead of being down for the grind because i will have a sweet weapon or armor I can use to further my grind, I just see a waste of time that wont matter in November anyway so why bother? One thing I have never gotten was burned out playing which may seem weird but it's true, but it just depresses me to think of playing now. I wont say im deleting the game but I have no intention of buying further content and may pop in the free to play sometime but there are a lot better games right around the coroner.
Cue the "Git Gud" , "see you in November", and "prove it delete your character" -blam!-ing morons. You all make this community shittier by the day.
For all those leaving, I hope you find a new game to enjoy! For me Ghosts of Tsushima looks super awesome and I can't wait to play it. I have returned to MHW for now and it is such an amazing game I struggle to find the reason why I left it for destiny.

We are all together on this Homie.
This is I think what a lot of people actually are feeling when I see these "Im leaving" thread. I couldn't agree more.
Again, I'm with you on this one. I'm also an old school gamer. Been playing Video Games since the 1970's. I also value my games and my time playing games. The games are just as important as my time playing them. You are not alone on this one.
I look at the quests I have to complete and now instead of being down for the grind because i will have a sweet weapon or armor I can use to further my grind, I just see a waste of time that wont matter in November anyway so why bother? When you're working for something but realize it's really working for nothing, it kinda feels like an "Enslavement." That is depressing, disappointing, and my favorite, just a general sense of helplessness. Again Homie, you are not alone.
I wont say im deleting the game but I have no intention of buying further content and may pop in the free to play sometime but there are a lot better games right around the coroner.
Same with me Bruh. Not paying for new content anymore. I'll play the Free-to-Play version just to see what happens. After the Sunsetting bullsh*t, this game is not the game that we love anymore. A greedy scum is driving and has taken over the steering wheel of this game. When they drive into the ditch, I'm not going with them.
Cue the "Git Gud" , "see you in November", and "prove it delete your character" -blam!-ing morons. You all make this community shittier by the day.
Yep, again you are correct. Just look below that answered you. They have egos like hernias so big they could sit on their balls for days while they play. Don't listen to them. You are correct. And you are not alone Homie.
For all those leaving, I hope you find a new game to enjoy! For me Ghosts of Tsushima looks super awesome and I can't wait to play it. I'll play the Free-to-Play version just to check for improvement but I won't pay this Sunsetting bulls*t. It's Digital Slavery, and it feels like an enslavement. I'm going back to my roots and play games that is worthy of my time and my enjoyment. I wish you well and know that you are not alone on this. We all who are against this Sunsetting bullsh*t feels the same as you. We are together on this Homie. Cheers!

First problem going to a video game to get a meaningful rewarding experience well... Video games...stay with me cause this is tough concept to get.... Video games do Nothing But fill time. They aren't meant to be rewarding... Trophy system is just there to make your brain go off. Take a step back and look at where you're putting your time.
