“Oh no, just sorry I had to interrupt! Where were we at?”
English
-
“You were saying that they were learning, and they’re better than some random person.”
-
“Oh yeah, they just have to come to me about where stuff is, but they are quite good at serving! I see your.....incognito.”
-
She furrows her brow. “I am?”
-
“Well normally you’re wearing full armor, but now you’re just in jeans and a sweatshirt.”
-
Skye looks down at her sweatshirt, and sighs. “Oh. Well, I mean... they cover up the bruises.” She lifts up her right sleeve a little, revealing some deep shades of purple and yellow. She quickly pulls the sleeve back down and crosses her arms to lean on the table. “My armor’s basically scrap anyways. I’m not hiding, though.”
-
“Oh well that’s nice.....how was reconstruction on you bow?”
-
“Honestly... not great. I can’t get the joints to work like they used to. But it’s not horrible either, so... just needs time. How have things been here?”
-
“Pretty calm. Not really anything to note. Haven’t gone......feral again, either.”

-
“Nope. Though, I half hope my staff don’t call the Vampbusters.”
-
Skye can’t help but chuckle. “Vampbusters.”
-
“Yeah. Even if they do call em though......they’re not the smartest people.”
-
“No, they’re not. But your staff seem like nice people, I’m sure they wouldn’t betray you like that.” She spots the Twi’lek that’s covered up most. “And I thought that I was dressed a little too warm for this weather.”
-
“She........has a past.” Blaze says quickly.
-
“Oh, sorry... I don’t want to gossip. I didn’t mean to push that button.”
-
“No.....you have the right to know as long as you don’t mention it.....” Blaze glances around. “She was trapped in prision with a male vampire.”
-
Skye’s eyes widen. “I... oh. You mean...?” She looks down at the glass in front of her. “Andrew’s cross...”
-
Blaze moves back a little at what she says. “Yeah......doesn’t help that I thought she was dead and uh........tried to feed.”
-
Still focused on her glass, Skye doesn’t seem to realize what she said. “She... she seems to have forgiven you for that, though.”
-
“Ehh..........she tries to interact with me as little as possible.”
-
“I... I wouldn’t take it to heart. I mean no offense, but... you know... I’d imagine she’s not very trusting of men right now. But she has to still appreciate you to some degree, otherwise she wouldn’t be working here. You do a lot for people, and being in a prison that’s a hard quality to find.”
-
“I would say that but.....I’m also a vampire. Double whammy.”
-
“The world seems to run on the unfortunate things we don’t expect,” Skye says softly with a shrug, not taking her eyes off the scotch. “Just don’t be discouraged. She’ll come around eventually. You do have a tendency to make someone smile despite a situation.”
-
Blaze takes a big gulp from his glass. “Guh, guess you’re right.”
-
“Although your ‘Scott-free’ pun was pretty bad.” She speaks in a more lighthearted tone in attempt to brighten the mood.
