Dave Filoni is named head of Lucasfilm
...Kathleen Kennedy has been replaced, Jon Faverau and Filoni are now in full control of the future of Star Wars. Ashoka live-action series confirmed that is the sequel to Rebels and a new trilogy is announced, episodes X, XI and XII.

Those two are somewhat of a dynamic duo. Dave's sheer love and knowledge of the franchise complements Jon's expertise in film. I hope they do this again with star wars; having a fan work with a film expert.
