Good 150 rpm hand cannon that isn’t spare rations?
I was wanting to get into the 150 RPM style hand cannons and I was wondering which would you guys recommend?

They do exist, just not with the roll pool that most would like. Jack queen king has an abysmal roll pool in comparison to what it could have with the updates in game. West of sunfall is 180, but never came back with the rest of the osiris upgrades which was a shame. Spare rations just has a good variety of rolls and can roll rapid hit, which I think is one of the best perk for handcannons because they benefit greatly from continued precision damage and increased reload. The problem is the loot pool variety for that archetype has pushed the playerbase to spare rations. It is kind of a self inflicted wound by Bungie. It is very depressing to find old archetypes introduced to the random roll pool with none of the improved random roll perks. Uriel's Gift has a crappy roll pool in comparison to what it could be. Which is a shame, because those Omolon archetype auto rifles feel great to fire. We'll see what drops next season.

Waking vigil is really nice on pc, console it just seems to wiff shots idk why. Rose imo is better than the spare, it just feels more consistent to me. If you’re good with managing recoil and nasty muzzle flash Visual effects, thorn can be nasty.

On console I still rock Not Forgotten with great success, but that’s the energy slot. Primary slot , pretty much Spare Rations is ur best option tbh

Spare rations only stands out because of the ridiculous aim assist on top of everything else. Bringing down its aim assist would balance it while still letting it be good for people who actually aim. Don’t feel like you HAVE to use a kinetic either. Imperial Decree is just as good as Mind Benders for the Kinetic Slot shotgun. The only thing you’re missing is a good selection of Snipers beyond Revoker. They tend to all be 72rpm except for that one from the last wish raid.

In my personal opinion they all have to much recoil on console for my enjoyment. Except luna/nf which is my favorite primary right now. Gonna switch to autos for my kinetic after the buff.

Dire Promise, Rose and Lumina are pretty good.

There aren’t many. For the kinetic slot, you’re options are thorn, rose and lumina. In the energy slot you have sun shot and jack king queen. Those are the ones I can name off the top of my head.

4 RespuestasI'm gonna be the outsider here and recommend Lumina. Yes the exotic perk only helps if you hit your teammate with the Noble Round but the weapon itself functions well.
