I tried that first time ever today lol... That is not connection based matchmaking. That was the worst pvp I've ever played. Everyone zooming around at 2x speed doing 2x damage. Seriously wtf was that getting 2 tapped by drang? Antiope has a .01 ttk now really? Hunters more than 70 or so meters away get all the way to me with a mind benders before I can shoot their shield down even 1 quarter. Pfft please my god I can go into survival freelance and crush everyone who isn't constantly shooting me with rocket launchers. Dude bungie seriously fix your shit my god... I joined it cause I broke into a very high tier pvp when hardlight was buffed and did alot of my rounds for broadsword. Matchmaking was taking me like 10 friggin mins to find people. Ran that classic mix what a -blam!-ing joke just wow... I guess sbmm it is with the year long wait times. I only played 2 rounds of it but I think it is safe to say your matchmaking problems exist in the connection based portion of the tool.
