Dont listen to the naysayers. By their logic, the United States should have stayed with a King ruling from afar instead of fighting for their freedom. Or when Germany was at France's front door rolled over in WW2. There's nothing wrong with nationalism. Its having pride in your country.

Britain was prosperous post colonial and pre EU. and its economy is slated to recover at a rate of as much as 2.7% a year, if Javid can deliver the right policies. The Nationalist angle is a smoke-bomb, same one Dems tried, and failed, to impose on Trump. Detractors are using the same excuses, albeit with different language that Larry Summers invented during the Obama administration to excuse slow growth because of Democrat written regulatory policies, "secular stagnation" or in lay-mans terms; "it's everything else's fault; definitely not the goverment regulations, just forget about those and look at my technical terms."
