I took a break from destiny during season 7 cause i smashed the game. Every time a.dlc would be about to come out id have nothing to do for 2 3 months while waiting for new content. Took a 3 4 month break to let content build up so i had stuff to do and be excited to play n grind. Now i finished shadowkeep and im looking for the vex offensive and i find out its gone. Like i paid a 100 dollars preorder for that content. Im so bummed. I am a day 1 destiny 1 player. Done it all in both games up to this point. And now ive missed out. Wow what is going on with the system here? Its not cool or fair for the gamers to buy this and buy packages and then take it away.

Need to read, each season disappear with new season
-
1 RespuestaI know everyone hates the seasons as they are now but as I sit here waiting to be off of work. I think they would be great for the game. Seasonal play isn't bad. The execution of seasonal play is the issue so far. The way they are doing it now is just awful. Couple things to acknowledge and know before I dive in to how this could work. One. I get it. Development is expensive. So this is me putting on a Bungie hat with unlimited resources. Two. the marketing would not spoil the entire damn season yet it would tell you what you would be getting with each season. So my seasonal play would show these things to sell value to the consumer. (A new story 3-4 missions, 2 strikes, a 6 player activity, new raid, two new exotic quests, and more) Three. NO CONTENT will be removed after the season ends!!!!! I REPEAT ALL CONTENT IS THERE FOR GOOD!!!! Four. Seasonal Ranks would still be in effect but maybe adjusted to more of a cosmetic / bright dust system to truly encourage players to take part and celebrate the season with unique emotes, skins, etc to show off your rank. Okay here would be my seasonal road map. (The weeks can be adjusted these are just my examples and the content can be different like instead of a community event or strike it can be a new PVP mode and maps. These are just examples I thought of to make it more cohesive and engaging) MONTH 1 LAUNCH WEEK - Roughly a 90 min story line play to introduce the season. New Strike introduced with the nightfall that week being the new strike as well. Week 2 - 6 Player Activity Launches that further develops the story from last week. Week 3 - The 6 player event from last week launches us in to a new raid activity that is available. Week 4 - Iron Banner (Because hey it's always a thing. LOL) MONTH 2 Week 1 - Exotic Quest 1 (The quest being given from either the 6 player activity or raid) Week 2 - Raid Challenge Mode Launches for unique gear and rewards Week 3 - Iron Banner Week 4 - Community Challenge Event (Located on the planet that is focused around the new content earning currency through various activities at the location upon completion of community event it will drop rewards and lead in to the legendary 6 player event) FINAL MONTH Week 1 - You can now do a legendary 6 player event mode if you want to unlock even more powerful gear. This encounter would have a new final phase with a new boss mechanic and lair. Week 2 - Exotic Quest 2 is available after defeating the legendary boss from the 6 player legendary event. Week 3 - Iron Banner Week 4 - THE FINALE (New Final Strike Launches culminating this season's story, double valor and infamy for those needing to catch up, and a 10 percent XP boost for those needing last minute seasonal rank.) The finale will lead up in to the Tuesday reset that invites people to log in for the new seasonal update and see a true had to be there moment transitioning the story before our eyes from the season we completed to the season we are about to embark next. Missed any content? No worries. It's. Going. Nowhere. Enjoy it! Like I said this is all easy when I have time to kill and a keyboard in front of me but this seasonal play would actually be engaging and fun if the resources were put in to the game to make it so.

3 RespuestasI mean, the advertising was pretty -blam!-ing clear.
-
2 RespuestasIt's definitely fair since they told you before you bought it that it would be removed.
-
9 RespuestasI mean they were advertising it that way before Shadowkeep came out. So kind of your fault at this point.
-
9 RespuestasI'm not happy about it either. But, to be fair, they gave us tons and tons of warning that this would be happening.
-
They gave plenty of warning months before the DLC and Season came out. That’s your own fault for not paying attention.
-
They warned us about the content going away. They gave us reasons. It also appears to match up with whats going on with the story. It all makes sense to me. Even though you have done everything, i guess the "fear of missing out" didnt grip you.
-
6 RespuestasAs I told another player here, don't pass the buck. You have the ability to ask questions. Forums, websites and YouTube are great ways for people to be informed. Buying something you don't know about is on you

3 RespuestasBungie: here is a season where the content will go away after the 3 months is over. It will cost 10$ You: cool whatever im gonna play it later Bungie: Well don't play too later cause the activities, weapons and season pass go away when the seasons over. You: Did you say something? Bungie: Just letting you know how this new content works. Several months after the season ends You: WHERE DID IT GO? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THREE MONTHS FOR A SEASON? WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS? HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!
-
2 Respuestasits their new way of releasing content and keeping the community toxic. its called Fomo. I still am baffled how any person thinks these season pass are better than what we had previously. at least previous content didn't disappear and all its loot taken from the game. You Actually got what you paid for previously... where as now.. they just keep lying and blowing smoke up our a$$ with these lame content drops. the only decent part of season of dawn were the few Saint 14 missions.
-
2 RespuestasShadowkeep with everything was only 60. Sit down.
-
2 RespuestasFound the Guardian who doesn't read and the complains after the fact. I tried man. I did. But I just can't feel sorry for you guys after the past few years of Destiny's dev cycle. READ!
-
1 RespuestaYou spent $100 just for Vex Offensive. Wow.
-
2 RespuestasSorry buddy but just like everybody else who complained about a bunch of stuff on here regarding the pass (content leaving, only getting one pass, etc.) all of this information was given. It was accessible then and still is now. It is on you the consumer to understand what you're buying and if its worth it to you. Part of knowing the worth is how something works. This model is not for taking breaks.
-
1 Respuestaand now bungie is proud of making boring content so that players won’t be mad when it vanishes... got you covered!
-
2 RespuestasWelcome to the future of Destiny. Its a terrible system in place to excuse half baked content. I know its not exactly helpful, but you didn't miss out on anything, vex offensive was terrible.
-
1 RespuestaMy question is why you smashed your game.
-
3 RespuestasEditado por roadrage424: 2/4/2020 9:12:17 PMD2 = the Chuck-E-Cheese shooter Enjoy your plastic spider ring!! (Sorry Chuck-E-Cheese for the insult!)
-
1 RespuestaIt's the shiite FOMO model that does not belong in a game like Destiny. It has brung a shallow cheap feeling to Destiny that just makes you not care anymore that I don't think is sitting well with the community.
-
2 RespuestasWhy did you even pre-order something you weren't even going to play? To save $5? At that point you should've just played when you were ready to buy. Even Shadowkeep went on sale 33% off.
-
1 RespuestaYou’ve been playing non stop since December and you’re just now realizing and complaining about this?
-
1 RespuestaYou got what u deserved imo
-
1 RespuestaIf you logged in but didn't play the past season, you may still be able to claim the Rank 1 rewards from the Season Pass. But there was plenty of notice that seasonal content would be temporary, so there's no excuse for not doing any research. https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Seasons/PreviousSeason

1 RespuestaMy condolences for your money.
