Facts of the case: Bungie proved last week's claim of rigorous testing was a lie, and now we also know the claim that Bungie doesn't have the ability to restore lost items/characters is a lie too.

You do realize this “restroring deleted items/characters” involved a full roll-back of all players data...not just 1 individual account. So no, they cannot just restore 1 individual account’s data. Pretty sure the vast majority of non-affected players would hate to have their progress rolled-back because someone inadvertently deleted their own gear or “got hacked” to have their stuff deleted.

One thing i have to disagree with is the final part about restoring gear, if you mean that as they tell people who delete stuff they cant restore it they are right, to restore lost/deleted gear would involve rolling back the servers Which would be more problematic then anything

This is just one of the many reasons I left destiny altogether, bungie can’t seem to hold it together let alone improve on what needs to be improved on.
