I would like to see what the numbers are for another post I am creating.
There is no such thing as perfect sandbox balance. Even if it were possible, it wouldn’t be fun, and it wouldn’t be Destiny.

Honestly only a couple of weapons and Rpm archetypes need change... What we REALLY need is actually maps that aren’t just closets. All these tiny maps that already struggled housing 4v4s are now trying to have 6v6s in them... it makes no sense...

4 RespuestasHow about the removal of pvp to make pve great.

1 RespuestaThis game will never be balanced. But what it needs is to be TUNED better. Most of this game’s problem stem from the fact that primary weapons are underpowered.

Perfect balance is not going to be possible with the variety of weapons and rolls everything can get makes it highly unlikely everything would play well together. I'm leaning more toward meta shifts because it solves a few issues. It changes the typical meta loadout that has been the same now for close to a year, and it involves trying to get god rolls for other types of weapons that have begun to shine in the hypothetical new meta, giving life to other parts of the game.

Everything being at above a bar for viability, without any extreme outliers like Launch Mythoclast.

Neither. Perfect sandbox balance is impossible and meta shifts are only enjoyable during the honeymoon phase before everyone goes back to being miserable. PvP was at its best during House of Wolves/Taken King, where a wide array of primary archetypes felt viable and hard-hitting. What needs to happen are adjustments that make auto rifles, bows and other underperforming archetypes feel better to use.

Question I have been becoming a little bit bad at crucible since last time I played. does this mean that my matchmaking will change or will it stay the same?
-
Connection stability and solo vs team protection in quickplay are the important things for me. Also, I think Glory should go back to matching you based on your Glory points rather than your skill level. Voted for balance

Balance balance balance. Why do you think the pvp in halo is still hailed as one of the best pvp shooters? Because it was so well balanced. It was a lot more simple also but every single gun was good, even the sword was really good. Pvp in this game needs some major changes. It needs to be a totally separate entity from the rest of the game. It needs massive limitation to the types of guns and exotics that can be used in it. Supers and entire skill trees need to function totally differently to make it balanced. Pvp in destiny has always been a joke full of a pre determined metas made by Bungie. Then they nerf and buff stuff to alter the meta as they see fit. It's generally always been the holy trinity meta though of shotguns, snipers and hand cannons. There is seriously almost no balance in crucible. It's a joke.

Fix matchmaking, then the rest will follow.

12 RespuestasGet rid of special ammo as it’s made the game incredibly boring, I myself am tired of running fusions, shotguns or snipers because nothing else competes. Boring
-
1 RespuestaBalance. I'd rather have something be boring but fair compared to the utter trash heap we have now. The most used weapon currently is a SHOTGUN.
-
Balance. Meta shifts can be made less often. Ideally I wouldn't want meta shifts at all. Bungie should design their game as intended and stand by it.
-
Seeing as there is no such thing as perfect I’ll go with frequent shifts.

This game has lost its pvp way not sure why but it's garbage.
