The point of raids is mechanics, the puzzle etc that's what makes them fun. You want shooty shooty things for loot? Go play Sundial because that's what a raid will become if you take out mechanics. Raids take 1hour + with groups that feel the need to afk at each flag rally to use DIM for 10 minutes or talk about what to do, when you're with a group that knows what's up no raid should take more than 30 minutes.
