Thorn can kill at nf range, albeit yes with the dot. Oh, and spare rations with the right roll can compare or maybe even outrange nf. If you branch out of 150s, hell trust can have a better range than nf. You also said nothing about energy vs kinetic, so that doesn't matter. Honestly...it's a good ranged HC, but with the cap it's not what it used to be.

NF has a lot more range because of its perk. A lot more. It’s perk allows for full damage at 40 meters. Which would be a 4 tap. It also has a 3 tap range of 35 meters.

NFs range actually shouldn't be as big as you think. And if I remember correctly, thorn can reach close to that with 3 headshots. Less forgiving, but can do it.

The range bonus given from mag howl still allows it to 4 tap at 40 meters. Thorn and spare rations are better overall, but range goes to NF. NF is hands down the best energy 150.

Oh that's neat. Well, sure it has the best range as a 150 then...but that's really it. The others are objectively better, and if you're gonna 4 tap at 40 meters you might as well use a Max range EP opening shot trust. That WILL beat NF.

That WILL beat NF.[/quote] Trust doesn’t have more range than NF, it’s not even close. Trust will 6 tap at that range with explosive payload. The only way it would beat NF is if the NF user was missing shots, which is possible with explosive payload, but also not a big deal for NF.

It really just depends who fires first and who misses second. NF is good, but it's very beatable dude.
