With the amount of target acquisition they have and the seemingly lack of flinch, hell no, they need to stay in heavy.

yea right now with the artifact, but that will go away. They could tweak that as well if it is still too strong. They could also increase the zoom so its more like a sniper. But honestly, snipers are still better.
