Narrative posts about the new season
Honestly, I feel like these should be voice acted cutscenes in-game. It would create immersion, and actually reach more people that way. Not everyone likes text walls.
Thoughts?
EDIT: people who are blindly downvoting this post just because you chose the keep as is option, please grow up. I asked for input, not childish toxicity.

You forget the difference in work between the two. Previews just require the writers to copy/paste the script whereas cutscenes require rendering, SFX, and voice acting on top of the script.

2 RespuestasWhile it would be nice to have them as cutscenes, that’s a lot of money and video editing and stuff to make them. Have you seen them when they asked whoever the guy that made the sounds in the vidocs, to do some physical stuff for just one emote?

2 RespuestasI would love to see them as cutscenes and maybe at some point in the future that will happen. But for now, as Bungie is now self publishing and have limited resources, I think those resources are better focus on new content.

I’d love if instead of fully fleshed our cutscenes they were in the style of the way Eris explained becoming ascendant to move between ruptures,or the brief cutscene of the 3 TTK Subclasses narrated by their respective Vanguard It’d be stylised and pretty damn cool Although a full cutscene of all the entries would be cool I feel those wouldn’t take as much time to make.
