Hunters will continue to reign as best class for PVP and here’s why
Since the launch of Shadowkeep and the introduction to the artifact. Hunters have been king with arc battery + wormhusk crown. For those saying thunder coil titans are also broken, I feel like they are not as bad because you are putting yourself in risky situations where you can easily be killed if you do not have OEM activated, but that is just my opinion. The issue with wormhusk + arc battery is because if you are loosing a gunfight you can dodge, get some health back, and become pretty much invincible in your dodge. This allows any hunters to basically restart the gun fight to their advantage and easily kill their opponent. This basically allows hunters to tank basically anything in their dodge because they get like 200 plus health in a dodge with arc battery (someone tell me the exact amount of health gained in dodge during arc battery).
One of my worries about next season’s artifact is the final column. I don’t know if I was the only one, but one of the mods in the final column looked like a void version of arc battery (Double check that though), making me scared that hunters will have spectral blades and an invincible dodge
With the nerf to the speed in Dawnblade, and the OEM nerf, I am starting to think that even more players will be switching to hunter because of the nerfs to the others classes that allow them to compete against hunters currently.
One way imo to fix this is to disable the artifact in pvp, thus lowering the power gap between the classes.
For those who say I don’t play hunter, I am a warlock and hunter main and an avid pvp player who plays both.

The reason why Hunters are overused in PvP is because their neutral game is significantly better than the other classes. Dodge rolls, invisibility, fantastic vertical movement, useful exotics...

Hunters will keep being the best in PvP due to their jump and dodge abilities. There's really not much Bungie could do without harming what the class is known for: agility. Some morons even ask for Double Jump to be on the other classes.

The skill ceiling for hunters has ALWAYS been higher for the class than any other. At least on Console. The jump+agility minus the FoV are huge advantages for the class. It’s literally the reason everyone’s victorious emblem has by far more hunter kills than any other class. And it’s not close. I have 15 thousand more hunter kills than Titans. It’s just the way it’s always been. And it’s ok to switch mains. Playing the same thing day in and day out gets boring and monotonous. Truth is On Console hunters have always ran rampant in the crucible. And until the FoV is adjusted they always will.

23 RespuestasYou are underestimating a good Warlock build. And that's fine. We don't want too many people knowing the ways of the warlock. There are more hunters out there because they're not warlock material. And that's fine too. To say that the Hunter is the best class for PvP is wrong, though. They are easier to play, though. And that's a given. That's fine. But I'm glad that you think that way, and so does many others. Everything is fine. =)

14 Respuestassaying one class is broken because of one or two abilities is dumb. Some say titans are broken because of oem and thunder coil. Some say Warlocks are broken because of supernova. Some say hunters are broken because of arc battery. Like no, not really, first of all each class has its own broken thing and second of all it is only one or two abilities and aside from those they are equally balanced.

24 RespuestasEditado por Artisan: 12/6/2019 2:25:39 PMA lot of folks were looking out for the OHK knife when a head of combat mechanics was on recently ( A HUNTER MAIN, which at least symbolically was perfectly apt) and we're speculative that it must be a slow build up animation to level things out a little. It turns out, when it finally was showcased via Twitter, that it's lightning fast too. So PvP was undeniablly Hunter-broken and Hunter overpopulated and they just poured more gasoline on both for good measure. Bungie needs to listen more to the Streamers, the players and do the decent thing: change the name to The Hunter's Crucible. Because that's what it is, that's the statistical truth.

Forget being tanky That mobility, especially on console is unparalleled. Dodge is such a superior class ability in combat compared to rifts and barricade Tge hunter class in general is actually different from thd other 2 whereas titans and warlocks are almost interchangeable
