PSA:Guns, abilities, and enemies WILL kill you
For all you nerfherders out there, here are some simple truths.
1. Enemies will use guns and you will die. Sometimes you will die quickly. That does not necessitate a nerf. Nor is the gun OP.
2. No guns or abilities are OP. Either the wielder is better than you, you lost focus, or both... but it's not nerf time.
3. Lots of people use the same guns. This is due to a newly designated illness called "streamitis malignantus suckasspickus". The illness is known to promulgate during steamers broadcasts. Stay away and defund the carriers of this illness. As such, because nothing is OP, the weapon (whether ability or gun) is OVERUSED (or, OU, not to be confused with Sooners or OP).
4. You are going to die. Many times. Most people will die more often than they kill. Average gamers have a KDA just south of 1.0. So. If you are average and you pull 1.0 or better, you just had a great game! Rejoice! Do not go to the forums and cry about dying to Recluse for the 1,000 time.
5. You will lose. You will lose more often than you win. It's the law of averages, or some other BS. Whatever governs that part of the universe dictates that you will, on average, have between a .4 and .49 win loss ration. So, stop being angry when you lose. It is not time to cry on the forums. No nerfs needed.
6. It's a game. Chill the F out. For real though. All you prepubescent kids and your shrill voices make my ears bleed. If anything needs a nerf, it's your high shrieking voices.
Ok, so, as you can see... no nerfs needed. Adapt. Survive. Win. Well... er... die, lose, and deal.

EDIT: as a follow up... I just annihilated a few Recluse wielders with... not Jotuun... not LH... oh, 18 Kelvins. Pretty sure if an old sidearm can best Recluse, then Recluse is not OP.

D1: Suros regime, Vex Mythoclast, Thorn, Truth, Any shotgun with shot package, Ice Breaker D2: LH/NF, Erentil, Lord of Wolves, Prometheus Lens (pre patch), Mida (pre patch), Wardcliff. Need i go into the armor and abilities that are blatantly better than any competitors. Need i go into the fact that certain weapons and archetypes are effectively useless. Im sorry but there are items and builds that allow for the most toxic and bs play styles of almost any shooter i have ever played. This game’s bs is only topped by MW2’s Danger Close/OMA noob tube build and the pre nerf model 1887s. And even then some of the things were less cheesy. No supers, no wall hacks, no overshield on kill, no heal on dodge, no invisibility. I couldn’t give any fewer f[i]u[/i]cks about my KD; I only care about having fun. Having some shit eating titan apeing me with his Ace/Mindbenders/OEM/Shoulder charge titan is not fun. Getting spawn camped by some little shit ass hunter watching my spawn like a hawk with a sniper and infinite wall hacks/invis isnt fun

26 RespuestasPSA only a fool would look at the game and not realize that things are op. The issue is the ammo economy. It allows players to consistently get kills with ohk weapons, which are in fact over powered. Nothing is even 100% balanced, and because of this people move to this idea of a fast ttk being the only way to play the game. on top of this, armor can be op, same with abilities. I mean sure, we could have all "adapted" and moved to titan when one eyed mask was at its prime, OR, we can let bungie know that they -blam!-ed up. Its why it got a few nerfs. Same with supers. You really think that week of spectral blades was fair and balanced? if only you actually played pvp, maybe the rest of the crucibabies would be able to hop on your "Please dont nerf me" train.

1 RespuestaIt'd be cool if Bungie added drawbacks to certain weapons/perks instead of nerfing. For example, instead of making LH and NF a 150, they could remove body shot damage to make the gun high risk/reward. If they did this for every "OP" perk, I think it would make the Crucible a lot more engaging.

3 RespuestasWhile I agree with this post in most respects, I disagee with the the statement “no weapon or ability is OP” in my opinion this is incorrect because of weapons like pre nerf Luna/nf or OG nova warp were the best things to use of their time and were clearly imbalanced.
