I actually like this gun in PvP and some PvE. It’s also just useful for fulfilling certain quests that require elemental kills. What’s not useful is when the elemental affinity resets to void after you die. Especially in PvP. So it would be great if this and other weapons like it could be changes so that your element choice is kept even after dying.

3 RespuestasEh. While it would be useful, there are infinitely more important things on the list.

This. Along with Borealis.

if this does happen, they should allow release the wolves to do the same

1 RespuestaNot a bad suggestion at all. They fixed the prism order, so this seems to be in the same wheel house. As mentioned before there is a few other issues that would be nice to look at if we are looking at bringing it in to the shop. Top of the list is the screen shake. This is just bad. So I’m really curious on why it was implemented from a developer point of view. I think it is due to it’s intrinsic perk. So let’s get into that. Volatile light is out of place in my opinion. I don’t think bouncing bullets extra damage out weighs the reduced overall damage or screen shake. The fundamentals is really the selling feature. Add in the no fall off damage to that and make that the intrinsic perk. Move Volatile light to a trait and replace with the same effect as shield disorientate. Then swap the ammo type to ricochet rounds. I think a change like this would at least bring it into contention with other energy exotics

Seems reasonable to me.

7 RespuestasHardlight needs a PvE buff badly. Takes whole mags to kill some ads.

Good luck to you and us in hoping. My solution is an element wheel or holding blue brings up an element wheel and you can lock the element and change it easily. Headlight catalyst? Auto match elements?!

This honestly doesn’t matter. Why should Bungie make this change on an exotic that they refuse to fix, that even with the fix isn’t worth the exotic slot and shouldn’t be used in content above 750 power level!
-
The screen shake is ridiculous!!! I even tried bolting my tv down! Didn’t help... I tried my fix Bungie... now it’s your turn... #FIXIT!!!!
-
5 RespuestasThat would be handy, but taming the screenshake when you fire would be better.
-
You know whats more important for the hardlight? Removing the damn screen shake
-
Now imagine doing the Borealis catalyst. You have to remember switching to solar every time. Lose 3 seconds to change to arc, then 3 seconds to change to solar.
-
For sure it’s so annoying having cycle through again🤦♀️
-
Some minor ass bullshit man. How about it does too little PVE damage?

Well let the dev team know in 10 years Unofficial C0ZMO

2 RespuestasYeah this game sucks
-
1 RespuestaJust make it an omnielement gun. Would make it unique and worth running.
-
2 RespuestasWhy not just have it with three barrels that shoot all elements.
-
1 RespuestaI just want Hard Light's ability to not be bound to reload (among other weapons with reload bound abilities). That and for my screen to not undergo a seizure whenever I fire it.
-
Imagine being too lazy to hold down square/x 😂😂
-
Have you tried not dying?
-
Definitely. I recently got hard light and was so excited to try it. As soon as I died and it went back to void is said "oh no no. -blam!- this shit." And vaulted it.
-
It so annoying when you constantly have to rotate through all the elements every time you die. It’s a fun gun too bad it comes with this annoyance. And the screen shake.

Agreed, great point. It should persist with the last choice and so should Borealis
