Firstly, I have no idea where this perception of "all the endgame loot is locked behind Eververse" has come from. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING endgame is sold by Tess.
Secondly, according to 'Wasted on Destiny', you have amassed a total of 4394 hours of gameplay. Now we know that you played D1 and are assuming you bought all the DLC's etc so lets say at a guess $200. Add a further $200 for D2 and dlc's to date we estimate you have spent $400 on the game. In fact, lets be generous and say $500 as your vendor does appear to be able to see you coming, (I paid £45 for the digital deluxe edition).
So how does the math pan out...
$500 / 4394hours = 0.11 dollars per hour. 11 cents!!!
No more to be said apart from stop -blam!- about Eververse, nobody is forcing you to purchase from the in game store, nothing within it is endgame!!

Dude the -blam!-ing ornaments used to be earnable by in game activities. Now the model for eververse is soley directed to milk as much money during each season as possible. Not to mention the bright dust changes. We tolerated eververse because we could farm bright dust by dismantling useless shaders, ugly ships and sparrows. Bright engrams( nostalgic this season) are pathetic. Eververse is toxic thievery
-
I mean they technically are earnable from activities. Complete the bounties associated with gambit, strikes and crucible to earn bright dust to buy cosmetics you want. Simple as that, they may not drop DIRECTLY but they are earnable due to said activities

I know what being wrong means, this guy is just pissed off he can't afford something like jotunn sparrow. Bungie's bright dust system is shit, but by complaining because they can't afford everything will set them up for even more disapointment.

Bungie's bright dust system is shit, but by complaining because they can't afford everything will set them up for even more disapointment.[/quote] But it's a valid complaint. For example...isn't it convenient that you can only buy silver in 500's, but a ornament is 700. Who wants to do that? I'm glad SOME things are dust purchasable (until the 50k stash runs out!), but as we know all the good stuff is silver. That there alone will draw in all the 'boo's and arghs(!)' With the season coming to a close, and the stupid shop only getting updated once a week...yeah soooany won't be buying things they would rather purchase. PS - I got the jotun sparrow. Rocks, but nothing is as awesome as the bike with the glowing hoverpads.(maybe vanishing point). And it probably will never be sold again. Like the ornament for Outlast. DAMNIT!!! 😡

A large proportion of items are bright dust and for the most part, this season's silver only items are generally wank, the bright dust items are so much better, take the empyrean cartographer set for example. I know that sparrow from a prior season and fair enough, I see your disapointment but honestly, there's many other nice sparrows out there and the outlast pulse isn't even good, mediocre at best so missing out on the ornament would only annoy you until you find a much better pulse. In terms of silver item prices, I've always disagreed on that. It's genuinely stupid.

-
When going for a good full auto pulse, they're normally close range. In that sense, if anything, claws of the wolf is a go-to. It's not a portion, it's a fairly large proportion of items. There are many sold for silver only but for the most part, the items are bought for bright dust. I believe that bungie should move to other sources when it comes to items though. For example: - ships with Amanda - sparrows with an SRL vendor called Marcus whose consistently referred to due to his SRL involvement in the lore - shaders with Eva - weapon ornaments should either stay with Tess or be moved to the gunsmith - amour ornaments, emotes, ghost shells and projections should stay with tess
-
Range notwithstanding, claws of the wolf is a weapon that I hunted for quite some time (full auto ). I have three of them. That said it shoots pretty damn jerky, the model itself is not that sexy, and even worse it is horrendous withbkost shaders....and feels weak just shooting it. I never use it Outlast 4 lyfe (still needs a buff) Still looking for a full auto horrors least. got one with dragon fly which is entertaining on low level activities
-
I used horrors least once then dismantled it, just didn't really work for me. The only legendary pulse I used to consistently use was bygones from a crucible perspective due to how good it was though I never resorted to blast furnace despite its strength. In terms of pulse rifles as a whole, they're in a weird place at the moment although I'm 20 bounties and half a reset away from redrix
-
+ Chattering bone is better than all of them. I've has a full auto forever, but then just got another 2 2 days ago, one with outlaw/rampage. ultra stable. does great in pvp too. I have premonition (dragonfly) from Eris, and it's nice to use, but it's the shower shooting ones and it's finicky with handling. looks great though
-
I used chattering bone in PvP early forsaken as I had a solid roll from what I can remember, it was good but I'm yet to grab it again

Editado por Bokugo: 11/26/2019 5:58:05 PMIt is impossible to earn many cosmetics from eververse, like most exotic skins. And not only do you have to be lucky that your wanted item will go into rotation, you need have enough BD to buy it, which this new gather rate has severely diminished. Ornaments are 1200 a piece (and not universal so if you want it for all 3 characters you have to buy it 3 times) sparrows are 3200, and you can only earn 3600 a week (unless destiny is your job and you can afford the 40 hour grind on bounties) So no, not everything is earnable.
-
Yes...everything is earnable...as you can earn it...with bright dust but you can't collect everything unless you had a stockpile prior to shadowkeep. The thing is, they're cosmetics meaning its absolutely unnecessary to buy them as it's simply just niche items that change nothing in gameplay. Obviously it's frustrating that you can't buy everything but you should probably ask yourself, are you really missing out?
-
Would love to know how to earn the skins for Whisper, Outbreak, Thorn, and Malfeasance.
-
My point literally went over your head...
-
No... you can’t earn everything with bright dust or from nostalgic engrams. Some of the coolest looking stuff in the store is silver only & will never be in rotation for bright dust. There was a post on reddit about this. Just letting you know. For me, I could care less about ornaments. It doesn’t change how I play. Peace guardian...
-
I've seen the items that are silver only and I'm not gonna lie, my opinion is that they're wank for the most part. The items that are for bright dust look a lot better, take the empyrean cartographer for example. I know you just said you don't really care as it doesn't overly bother you but at the end of the day, it's cosmetics. People are just setting themselves up for disapointment the more they care about items that change nothing in game in terms of gameplay.
-
I know. Not pleased with how eververse works nor the bright dust concept. The company changes things too much. It would be better if they made consistantly good content and left the old stuff alone. But no they are like a child constantly changing thier mind.
-
I think eververse should be the way it was before where each season had it's own engram however I like the fact items don't drop bright dust anymore for the sole reason that I was constantly deleting bright dust items so I could afford newer things. I also think EVERY bounty should drop bright dust relative to the bounty itself, the more difficult the bounty, the more bright dust awarded. The most coming from raid challenge bounties and black armoury rare bounties
