My theory for the season pass (story wise)
Alright so we don't know a whole lot about what's exactly coming in the season pass down the road other then a few hints, teasers, and a general theme
We know that the majority of the story will be about the Vex and what happens if you leave them unchecked for long enough but I'd also like to propose a second underlying story that will be added upon with each season
I think the hidden swarms revival of Oryx will be an ongoing story alongside the Vex. I know that's a pretty big claim but let me just tell you what I think will happen in the next 3 seasons
1. Season of the undying: all about the Vex invading the moon, us building a portal to stop them, as the hidden swarm attempt to rez Oryx
2. Season of Dawn: I firmly believe that saint-14 will stumble out of the portal as evidence by IMDb, the heavy curse of Osiris theme we've noticed in the dev videos, and the fact that on their sketch board Bungie wrote "fix the timeline" under season of dawn. I think this season will act as a redemption and continuation of the story in curse of Osiris that was panned by players and critics alike.
3. Season of ???: After we help get saint back to his timeline we turn to mars to find Nokris back to his old tricks. I think that the hidden swarm will go to Nokris to help rez Oryx. Now I know what you're thinking, "Nokris would never do that", however! Why wouldn't he? Can you imagine how furious Oryx would be if he was not only revived through necromancy but by his most hated son? It's the ultimate F you to Oryx! Regardless this season will also redeem and continue the warmind story we left off on
And that's about it... Pretty lackluster but hey what can I say?

It’s gotta be either Saint/Osiris and the Vex or Mithrax and the Fallen. Aside from the Hive and the Darkness, these are the only [i]major[/i] plot threads that require further exploration right now. I’m discounting The Hive and Darkness right now, because I suppose that they’ll switch up the main focus between seasons. They’ll probably still be in there somehow. But there’s always the chance that Bungie will pull something out of the air.

I just hope before they roll anything else out they hire an actual story teller. Someone trained in telling a story. Here's the setup, here's the arch, here's the grand finale. Nice and clean and sensical. let this person go through your notes and completely redo everything 'cause let's face it, whatever way they're planning on releasing any "story" is a hot mess. There's zero chance any of it is a) any good, or b) gonna make any sense. Just bring in someone from the outside that knows how to do this stuff. It's ok. It's ok.

1 RespuestaFrom the vibes in Bungie Vidocs, I get the sense Season 9 and 10 will respectively be based on CoO and Warmind. Bungie will use this opportunity to make up for the original DLCs in Year 1 which were not well received at all. Personally, I am very excited

I hope we get Rasputin to do something about the Vex threat, that way they could finally show his power when it comes to casual threats. [spoiler]Saint-14 would be interesting to bring in to our time, I want to see his reaction when he hears about Osiris and the Speaker... Oryx would be a cool villain tho follow us throughout the story of the game (similar to Darth Maul to Kenobi) maybe if he get resurrected he attempts to kill us again and we use Sword Logic this time to face him[/spoiler]

I'm really just hoping Season of Dawn is us RIPPING and TEARING our way through the vex gate system while Saint-14 is just like "good job on killing all them vex!"

38 RespuestasOn a side note, I refuse to think hashladun is crota’s daughter (biologically). She’s using forbidden magic and dies like nokris finally animation. So yes, it might be hinting at Nokris coming back.

2 Respuestasif u read MCXX in the chronicon (yes i know its a canon fanfic of us BUT HEAR ME OUT) in this card the guardian goes into a fit of rage towards the vanguard and exclaims "Who do you think I am? Without me, you have only a dwindling army of ambivalent soldiers. I am the Young Wolf. I killed the Taken King. I defeated Ghaul, I roused the Traveler, I silenced the Moon, I stopped the invasion, I broke the curse, I broke the Houses, I killed the queen! I am the Shadow of Earth!" okay so these all happen in order (accept ROI and TTK) the moon, then the invasion, then the curse, all thats left is the latter 2
