You guys give bungie way too much credit. Remember when everybody freaked out about the spicy ramen ticket? Or the treasure chest emote?
The community was 110% convinced that it was important and lead to some great thing, but it in all reality didn't? Even after DMG said it didn't.
Nothing was going to happen and yeah, it would of been cool, but seriously ? Dont you think bungie would of hinted a lot harder at it if it was anything? They didn't expect a bunch of people to do that lol.
Also if you were in bungie shoes, why would you stop people from grinding your game? It looks better on them and bungie never said anything would come of it. The players who grinded knew the risk and they did it anyways.
Nobody is at fault here except the community and those guys thinking bungie would go so into detail about something so far fetched..
Edit: also why would they put that in the game when 90% of the player base wouldn't achieve that. They don't do things that only streamers would achieve. Most players are casuals and don't have that kind of time.
Could you imagine the backlash that would happen if this was a thing? Lol. bUnGie OnLy CaReS aBoUt StReAmErS!! bungie can't do anything right apparently. Everybody finds some way to hate them or blame them about something.

Actually been here since released, but I've never seen them do a streamer only activity. Usually streamers just have better skills than casuals and with that have an advantage. Everybody gets the same Chance. This is different because most people don't have 19hours to grind daily. They have families to feed and bills to pay. Bungie knows they would catch hell for it.

Like you said, they have 19hours a day to practice on easy mode. That's why when things get nerfed because of PC it makes things worse on console, and they do catch -blam!- for it, because they are not listening to the majority.

I play on Xbox and nerfs can be annoying, but it's never game breaking. There is always a new solution to get max dps and countering somebody in the crucible. As for world's first, I agree it's usually a streamer group which again is annoying. However, it's not like they don't deserve it. If you play videogames as a job then you have to be good or at least have really good knowledge of the game. They put in the work, find the cheeses, prep, and take it very seriously. If you want to be world's first then you really have to be the best of the best. Bungie gives everybody a fair chance.

Oh I was there and bungie definitely put too much faith in the community to figure it out. I agree that was awful and insane. However, everybody had the same chance to figuring it out. They didn't say streamers only or give only streamers access. Streamers are the only one who actually put themselves through that torture because they get paid for it and gain followers. That's not bungie's fault.

Not everyone has teams of friends to play with, but Raids still exist.

It's a multiplayer game and bungie never said this was a solo player game. It's your own fault that you're not raiding. you have the option to find a clan, use lfg, make friends, etc. or accept that you won't have a raid done. Again, nobody's fault except your own.

I’m just trying to add a point to a conversation because of sheer absolute boredom. and yes, I could stop sitting around and actually do something, but I won’t.
